Overcoming obstacles to be the best you !

Had high hopes for this drama! and it kinda disappoint. The first half of this was utterly boring! ( i would consider the first half, when the leads havent gotten together), however after they gotten together the drama turned pretty good.

Female lead and male lead knew each other in elementary school and were good friends, they even gave gifts to each other, that they still kept as adults. The male lead recognized the female lead as the childhood friend early on but the female lead didnt even remember the male lead until right before they got together.

This drama did had some cute moments of accidentally kissing. To me they have a decent chemistry but not strong enough for me. The ost song video basically ruined everything. They put all of their kissing scenes on there, so if you want to skip the drama and just watch the kissing scenes its there....

This story's flow is done in chunks, like the first half was just kind of boring parts nothing stood out, finally when they had some accidentally kissing it sparked the drama a bit. They finally got together but after couple ep was going to break up.. and finally make up.... ) squished a bit too much in the last half.

I liked that the male lead took the initiative and was bold about saying he liked her. Usually the leads are wishy washy, dont know how to confess but this one was pretty straight forward.

A bad copy of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

So, this is the Chinese version of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and to be honest it is an absolute let down! While the Korean version had me hooked on the get go, i found myself yawning with boredom in this replica. The original version had brassiness, sassiness and a chemistry between all the cast, which this version lacks. And let's not get started on the ML..how can you replicate Nam Joo Hyuk , its impossible. i binged watched weightlifting, while with this one i had trouble keeping my eyes opened! I actually watched it to fall asleep! Stay away of you have already watch the original because you will be deeply disappointed!

Started very well, but...

Started very well, ended up being very boring and mediocre compared to the Korean original ver. Especially after the main couple got together, the story became very boring, cringe and tiring, they added lots of unnecessary drama and the FL was so childish unlike Bok Joo (it felt very different tbh, her character changed so much especially towards the end) I didn't like the way they handled Jiang Gunan's biological mother's return and how he gave her his house property just like that. A lot of scenes between the second leads felt so rushed and lacked explanations. What else? I had high hopes but ended up being disappointed. I'm giving extra stars to their acting just because the actors did a good job. As I am a huge fan of the original story, let me tell you, just go and watch the original version, it deserves way more, don't waste your time on this one (as I did) also the marriage proposal part at the end was hilarious considering how many times they "broke up" or almost broke up for absolutely no reason at all lmao let me tell you it was unnecessary.

A story to watch

This is a remake but I still think they made a good remake. It is a good one. They have removed some of the story of the original and added some changes which made the story better.

The Korean version was first and they make you just love them and the characters they created. There the sparks fly between.
In the Chinese version, it's a little more difficult . They are good but it i something about the korean actors that tha chines didit have. BUt i realy lika the chines actors
I dosent matter because they keep a tone in the whole story that you need. They could have delved into certain relationships such as the brothers' love for the doctor that we could have gotten more of. I think it's nice that we don't have to deal with the coach's story. It was not needed in the Korean one and not here either and in the Chinese one they have chosen to remove it.

It stays fairly true to the original and has succeeded to that this to a new level. The main characters are cute and I think you should see both versions but maybe not close to each other. Then you just want to flush the episodes.

This is a very cute story, lovely acting and good production. It's nice music. I think there's enough intrigue and you need a story that doesn't end in complete disaster. And in this you get that. I think they did the endvery well.
