Ok this was pretty fun and cute and I kinda liked the plot. I thought I had figured out where it’s going. The two realizing that they like each other but too late and struggling with their feelings. Mando not wanting to betray his hopeful girlfriend and Barry not wanting to hurt his sister. He did warn Mando not to hurt her previously but WTF?! I was so wrong about the plot. They just hook up so easily. They didn’t even mention Kish and just started a relationship behind her back. Sorry but that’s trashy af. If you don’t have the guts to confess the truth and break up with your girlfriend and have a heart to heart talk with your sister then at least don’t enjoy having an affair behind this poor girls back. If I were her I would feel so extreme betrayed , esp by my own brother. Not bc he fell in love with my boyfriend but bc he had a happy affair with him. What a disappointment-_-I mean, I still find Mando and Barry cute together but the script is shitty. They should’ve given the characters more empathy towards others or should I say more brain cells to think about consequences. And well at least be sad for a moment and refuse their urge to do something before finally given in. And where the hell is the guilt? They don’t feel any guilt? So dumb.

Oh, Mando! (2020) Episode 4

Barry and Mando are both problematic characters. Ever since, I'm drawn to flawed characters because they're realistic and relatable and most of the time, redeemable. There's no question about it, cheating isn't right and what Barry and Mando did behind Krisha's back was awful. I don't know how they'll resolve this issue but I hope they don't make excuses for Barry and Mando. Episode 4's script was good. Professor Siwa's lines were realistic. In conservative Philippine society, people still get fired for being gay, and in Professor Siwa's case, for being a transwoman. As pointed out by other commenters, since Professor Siwa's a transwoman, after her revelation, she should have been addressed by her students as Ma'am or Madam (or the gender-neutral Professor), not Sir. Even the post-credits incorrectly identified Joel's role as "Mr. Siwa." Acting was excellent. Kokoy's a gem. I was worried about Alex but he held his own on this episode. Both Alex and Kokoy looked extra gorgeous. Production technicals were quite good. Overall, I'm satisfied with this episode and I'm ready for some reckoning next episode!
