Hello, Me! (2021)

Younger man and older woman, hate to love relationship, with same comedy style. Both are entertaining and make you feel good.

Both include:

- similar comedy styles
- non-biological mother and daughter relationship
- Sweet romance
- Ahjumma style main lead

Similarities from Ep.1:
-The present version of the female lead is an opposite version of the past. Both Ban Hani (Hello, Me!) and Zhen Xin (Our Times) are so different from their old selves.
-It starts out in the present time then shifts to the high school years of the female lead's life.

the same concept of time traveling in both. in DDMS, the FL returns back into the past to her high school days and recreates and relives the moments and opportunities she had missed. in "Hello, Me!", the 17 year old self of the FL time travels to the future into the present and co-exists with her future 37 year old self, where they both help each other in no third person could.

Just gives similar vibes as that one as in 18 again he transforms back to his past form. But, here her past comes to the future.

Many scenes from Hello, Me! reminded me a lot of Hi Bye, Mama!, especially because the two shows depict a supernatural event that deeply affects the lives of a variety of people. What's more, both of them deal with parting.

Both stories are about finding happiness again and their journey of self discovery. Both have several inspiring messages like it's never too late to be happy and we should love ourselves. Both have funny moments and more sad and tense moments, but overall they are dramas that make you feel good.

Hello, Me! is very different from FLA, except for the fact that there's time travel in both.
In Hello, Me! the FL's 17 year old self time travels to the future (the present where the story takes place), where both the 17 year old FL and her 37 year old self try to change the way she had lived for 20 years, boasting her self confidence, reviving old friendships, and igniting romance.

The otherwise rich lead is reliant on the other lead for money in both the dramas in the initial episodes (this scenario is more prevalent in DDSSLLS). More over, both have a similar feel-good factor and a lot of heart!

About lost chances and youth and being given a second chance again. A washed up temp worker who has by her own accounts failed in life meets her younger self for some inexplicable reason. She has to find a way to return her past self to her past while still explaining to her past self why and where she went wrong in life.

Both have that “older” female character that has lost their spark over the years, and a younger female character making them rediscover it. In both, romance is secondary. Both have meaningful scenes, self-discovery and a touch of silliness.
