Recommended for Rom-Com Enthusiasts

I have only watched 6 episodes of this drama and was surprised by the fast pacing. It's just a feel-good cohabitation drama wherein the female lead accidentally hit the male lead resulting in his temporary amnesia. Thus, the female lead took responsibility of him and let him live with her. There's more to the characters' backstory but I don't want to spoil anything so I'll let you discover it yourself. There's nothing special or unique with the plot. Zhao Lusi is hard-carrying in the acting department since Liu Te is not doing much (to be fair, I believe he's a new actor so there's that). If you want a feel-good rom-com drama, then I would recomment this.

Very Messy Drama

I very much wanted to like this, but I really couldn't find anything redeemable about it. The ML is cute, but he looks so young it was hard to buy him as a CEO of a huge company, not to mention he is a bad actor. The FL was cute, but her acting was also terrible. The plot of the drama is...rich guy, poor girl, and family drama. There was so many thing happening like faked-amnesia, secret crushes, adopted kids, motherly hate and a bunch of other crap I don't remember. I leaned a bit heavily onto the FF button, so I can't recall it all. On the plus side this drama was only 16 episodes on Viki, and with the help of the FF button I finished it fairly quickly.

And another dumb storyline goes like this: rich guy, poor girl, both have bodies of 12 year old boys and the girl is also portrayed as a dingbat.
She bumps into a stranger with her moped and let's a complete stranger live with her. She doesn't even know his name, or if he is a rapist, child pedophile or murderer. He is controlling and tries to recreate scenes from what's wrong with secretary Kim. He sets her apartment on fire, floods it and doesn't fix anything. When he floods her apartment, instead of freaking out and getting mad about the damage and money she will have to pay tobrepair the damage, she puts headphones on him to calm his fear of water.

I couldn't get past episode 3. This is the stupidest written show. Pass, you won't miss anything.

Couldn't even finish the drama because I was so put off by the male lead.

First, lets address the acting of the ML which could be compared to that of a dead fish, though I would argue that at least a dead fish has more emotions than he could ever portray. Was he happy? Sad? Shocked? Disappointed? I'll never know.

Second, lets address his character which somehow was even worse. Firstly, he lies about losing his memory because he wants the FL's shares (which she is unaware of) I assume to take over the company. Secondly, after she nursed him and gave him a home, he leaves her and then when he shows up out of the blue he expects her to be jumping for joy. On multiple occasions he crosses boundaries that she makes very clear she does not want crossed. their are so many awful occasions but the last straw when he forces his way into her brothers apartment and tries to button up her shirt. when she says that she can do it herself he insist upon it as if she isn't a whole grown women that cant do a simple task.

Next is the dialogue which honestly you can tell they tried to make romantic but it just came of as cringy and predatory. And although the plot is filled with clichés that doesn't usually bother me if its done well, but for this drama its like they just were throwing random tropes in for the sake of there being a trope.

I feel bad for the rest of the cast because their acting was actually good and there was a lot of potential but the ML ruined everything.

What happened here lol

TLDR: Didn't finish because I realized I could be watching literally anything else instead.

Story: Fine, nothing extraordinary. I haven't watched that many dramas before (15-20) so some of the tropes may not have gotten to me as much as they might someone with more shows under their belt but I was fine with most everything. Though the classic nonsensical business meetings with over the top reactions and consequences were kept alive and well. I will say some of the situations/misunderstandings that are ubiquitous in the genre can be pretty annoying in this show.

Characters: Most of the characters I thought were ok. Nothing amazing but also nothing egregiously bad either. Side characters served their purpose and most did pretty well. The highlight for me was the doctor. He was entertaining in most every scene he was in and served as some light comedic relief but still nothing spectacular. Disclaimer, I often concurrently watch dramas so the comparisons I'm inevitably making are to Love me love my voice and my neighbor is a gumiho which have incredible supporting casts so I might not be as high on some of the side characters as I might otherwise be.

I thought the FL was ok. She isn't the greatest here but she does enough to actually be the lead which is not something that can be said for the ML and boy do I have stuff to say about him. I do wonder if I'm recalling her parts more fondly because the only thing I have to compare her to in the show is probably the worst performance I've seen in some time.

I'm not sure what went wrong with the ML but he doesn't work at all. I'm not well versed in the technical side of the TV show business so couldn't really tell where the character was fumbled but either the actor was horrendously miscast or the director/writing staff gave him nothing to work with. Every time he shows up on screen the life is literally drained out of the show. He has less charisma than a garbage bag and I cannot for the life of me figure out how the final product was greenlit. He is supposed to be some highly competent CEO but he has the emotional maturity of a 1st grader that couldn't solve his way out of a paper bag. He is a rude, inconsiderate, socially inept a hole that couldn't smile even if all his dreams came true. I think the main issue for me is that multiple aspects of the show do their best to tell you that he is a likeable guy. They've got the obligatory slow mo shots with touching background music, injury/undressing scenes, coincidental touching scenes, and other girls pining after him but he does nothing to make you believe that any of that is real. I cannot name a single positive quality about him other than he has boatloads of $$$. My first litmus test for characters that are supposed to be likeable is whether I would ever willingly spend time with them and the answer for the ML is a fat no. The disparity between what the show wants the ML to be and what he actually is is so jarring that I can easily say he is the worst lead character I've ever seen put to screen in the genre and is probably up there across every medium. His character would've been fine as that supporting extra that gets 2 minutes of screen time throughout the show but watching a plank of wood pretend to be something it isn't for 40 minutes straight is kinda tough.

Maybe a bit harsh on the ML but I cannot stress enough how much the character stuck out to me. He is the sole reason I stopped watching. The show probably has lots of other problems but its hard for me to think of them because everything looks way better than it should when compared to the ML.

Music: Not a huge music person so don't have much to say. Didn't add any of the songs to my playlist but also didn't hate any of them.

Rewatch: Literally none. The ML did everything he could to stop me from finishing my first pass through so no chance I'm ever giving it a second.

Plot:
I am not fan of youth Chinese drama but still I watch them. So first of all this is not the first kind of drama that I encounter that has a the same plot but it will change on how they put things together by having a good scripting and character build up. This one is kind of cute if you watched "put your head on your my shoulder" I'm not sure if that's the right title, then I would say that this one is going to be good. By the way the first 3 episodes seems to be in a hurry or is just me who has a lot of expectation.
Character:
To be honest the FL here is one of my favorite. I watch her dramas and she's good at it. The ML is cute and domineering at the same time. (Lets talk about it when I'm done watching it OK?!)

Boring and cringeworthy acting

I have been binging ZLS dramas ever since I fell in love with her in LLTG. ZLS cannot even save this drama for me. I can't even get past episode 4.

The story is so dumb and the ML looks like a big tall kid and it's so awkward. His acting is so stiff and I just don't find any appeal with him. And the sound quality on this show is so bad!!! I cannot stand poor sound quality. I even tried watching on different websites to see if it was just VIKI, but it's everywhere.

So FL meets this guy by crashing into him on her scooter moped thing. She takes him into her home without knowing anything about him and starts caring for him. He catches her kitchen on fire, floods her house, etc. The thing that irritated me the most was when he flooded her house she was barely freaking out. The damage that floods cause is crazy! She should have been infuriated but instead (out of her good heart I'm guessing) cares for the ML because he's like having a panic attack bc of the water and then everything is pretty much okay after that. Like seriously.. the flood was caused by a damaged kitchen sink faucet and there was SO MUCH water LOL. How?! I think it would take a much longer time for it to get THAT flooded... and were there not any neighbors who saw the water coming out the door of the apartment? Zzz.. soo dumb.

There was another scene where he put a metal utensil in the microwave and it caught on fire. Then later on in another episode he suddenly knows how to cook and makes a rice cooker meal. Like bro... you know how to cook this nice little rice cooker meal but you didn't know not to put freaking metal in the microwave? Even if you're supposedly so rich & don't use microwave at home, it's universal common sense!

Just too many things irritating me in this drama. It was also poorly paced in my opinion. I'm all for slow burns, but this was almost moving too fast in my opinion. You barely know this guy!!! AGHHHHH. Okay I'm done.

Actualización : Lo termine de ver hoy no en español lo vi por encima en chino no se chino pero almenos se lo que sucede y se como termina es un drama muy bueno ligero divertido y Romantico lo que hay que saber recalcar aquí es a zhao lusi no digo esto porque sea mi actriz favorita digo esto porque se ve esta chica es arte esta chica se esfuerza y toma enserio su papel lo hizo ala perfección clavo su papel es una chica natural tanto detrás de cámaras como actuando ella es natural y esa naturalidad es la que la hace única y inreplazable te puede gustar cómo no gustar pero hay que saber reconocer cuando alguien tiene talento y esta chica lo tiene quedé enamorada de ella y de su drama espero con todo mi corazón que hubiera tenido suerte y tenga un buen ranking Ami el drama me encanto los dos han estado a la altura de su drama y lo han echo magnífico espero que crezcan y para ella deseo que algun día la reconozcan porque no todos tienen el talento como ella sobre todo naturalidad que te da esta chica pocos lo hacen trasmite su personaje y trasmite lo que vive eso te hace menterte en su papel a tal punto que dejas de pensar que es un drama Esta es mi opinión personal para mí este cdrama es una joya tremenda joya solo diré me vi el primer capítulo y cuando me di cuenta ya lo había terminado es un drama ligero de ver no es aburrido para nada es todo lo contrario te partes de la risa es que enserio te mueres de la risa la química es visible ya desde el minuto 0 me ponen la piel de gallina tanto zhao lusi como Liu Te es la primera vez que lo veo pero me está encantando tiene un algo que te atrapa denle todos una oportunida verán lo divertido que es disfruran de ellos y de su historia es un drama que me lo veré una no muchísimas veces más todo es buenísimo tanto la historia como los personajes me sentaré a disfrutar de los demás capítulos

Comentario final

Hay grandes partes de este drama que son muy sosas y obvias, con el propósito de meter relleno. La reconciliación de la hermana con la protagonista fue extremadamente simple y carente de sentimientos, lo mismo aplica al final de Ling Sheng, extremadamente bueno para alguien que cometió fraude e intento de asesinato a su propio hermano.

Te deja un sabor amargo en la boca ver como Ansheng se redime pero es a Xin'er a quien le dan un final feliz, mientras que él decide retirar su petición de estudios para hacerse cargo del grupo Gu. ┗( T﹏T )┛Caso contrario a Ling Fang quien al final consigue lo que quiso desde un principio. Un personaje fastidiosamente divertido, ojalá le hubieran quitado esos trajes que parecían terciopelo, lo avejentaban mucho. ψ(._. )>

¿Las parejas secundarias? Bueno, la mejor fue la de Ai Li y Yi Shan, tuvieron un desarrollo corto pero conciso, te llega a desesperar la actitud del médico pero un rol como el de Ai Li da satisfacción; una lástima que decidieron darle más tiempo en pantalla a Xin'er-Ling Sheng. La pareja de Zhao Lei y You You es bonita e infantil, aunque creció muy rápido fuera de cámara.

Una rom-com molto dolce.

Un rom-com in stile cinese come se ne vedono tante però con protagonisti dolcissimi con una bella chimica che fa sembrare tutto vero e più bello.
Non sarà proprio originale come storia di lui ricco e freddo oltre che molto carino e lei povera perché ha deciso di farcela da sola e una grande lavoratrice,si incontrano per un incidente e vanno a vivere insieme tra le varie incomprensioni alla fine si innamorano però ne passeranno un bel po di cose per arrivare a un bel finale.
C'è pure più di un triangolo amoroso poi genitori severi etc ma nel complesso una bella storia.Carina leggera che vale la pena di vedere.
