Love of Summer Night (2020)

Throughout Love of Summer Night, I was constantly reminded of Skate Into Love. Although they focus on different sports, they have many similarities.

- Both are sport dramas
- Both male and female leads are good athletes (FL in LOSN is a coach)
- College dramas with dorms/similar locations
-Male and female leads have very similar personalities
- Male lead is popular and all of the girls want him
- Sweet BFF/second lead couple
- Same type of love triangles
- Both dramas involve planning of separating the leads due to love triangles.
- Parents of FL get upset over her choosing sports and make a deal to either take her away or leave her in the sport depending on her performance. The male leads in both help the female lead succeed.

- FL recreates a team to represent the school (just different sports) despite being disbanded

- both youth dramas circled around a sport

cute and simple love story that you have been on the edge of your seat from start ...
Both OST title songs are so awesome that feels like listen to their songs more and more. Both FL have same personalities, they both love to play basketball so much that there is also a scene of playing basketball competition. First ML confess their feeling to FL.
All over good drama if you like first romance then you might also like Love of summer night.....

-both has ml who lost passion for their sport but the passion has been sparked by the fml
-both is revolved around sports

it is really similar as the ml in both the dramas is really good in the sports they pursue but have an internal turmoil
tho LoSN has a clear romance TPoT is more about crushes and friendships

They are both about sports. Although thumping spike is about volleyball while love summer of night is about basketball. Also they both have the female lead as a coach
