Both of them are similar in many ways. Youth, School life,Friendship, bonding and cute romance,these two dramas offer them all.

- endings are not similar but other aspects like:

(ii) 2FL and 2ML relationship
(iii) one left out friend (fifth wheeler) like guan fang in 25 21
(iv) that one beach / picnic scene
(v) 2FL and FL are great friends

They both are featuring Zhang Miaoyi and travel from a young age to marriage.... They are very sweet and the chemistry between leads is to die for. Loved them both <3

Both dramas are all about youth, romance, comedy. The characters are students and both are set in school setting.

Both of them take place in high school setting and eventually follows the story of the main leads' college lives.

The couple ends up getting married in the last episode in both dramas.

Although both dramas main focus is the love story of the main leads, they also center around a group of friends.

Same male lead and he portrays the same awesome facial reactions and expressions in both dramas, he started of with the cold guy vibe and went to the most sweet person ever. He is so diverse, he starred in Falling into your smile as the female lead's bsf boyfriend.
Both drama go from high school to college and supporting each others dreams and helping through hardship.

Saw the trailer for The Best Day of My Life and finished When I Fly Towards You but will recommend When I Fly Towards You, same actress is in this drama and if you love a cute and funny romance then When I Fly Towards You is one I recommend, drama is about a girl who loves one of the guys in her class and the actress in The Best Day of My Life plays the friend of the FL and supports the FL to get closer to the boy.

Both dramas begins with the charcters in high school where they first met. Both drama depicts romance between youth, friendship and family relationships. Both dramas are super cute.

This is, by far, my one of the closest recommendations for WIFTY:

- The male lead is a green flag, always helping the female lead.
- The girl develops feelings for the guy first, but he falls even harder.
- It follows their journey from high school to college.
- The setting is shot beside the ocean, providing a calming atmosphere.
- The OSTs are nice.
- The names of the main male lead and second lead are mixed up.
- It features a slow burn love story.

However, it lacks:

- The strong friendship dynamic present in WIFTY. Most of the female lead's friends are girls, and they don't show much bonding between them.
- The inclusion of family life in the end.
- Unlike WIFTY, they face major problems in their careers and love lives.
- There are love triangles.
- It lacks proper kissing scenes. (because the FL is too young when they shoot this)
- It is quite long with 32 episodes.

If you've finished all of the recommended dramas, there's nothing wrong with giving this one a try. Maybe it will be to your taste after all.

Green flag school romance drama with cute girl funny and brave and cute boy really nice with her. We follow their life at school to adult world. But not only, also their friends and second couple ! It’s a such good story . Really good like WIFTY !
