I was expecting this to be better but it was quite good. Though I think this would have been better if I didn't watched the original/earlier Ju-On/The Grudge movies before.
I think that the actors did a great job and music was awesome. Though I was hoping to get to see more Seto Koji's and Ai Kago's acting.
The movie was quite confusing at the beginning but then it got better. It would've been better if the movie weren't in different stories but in one big story. Though all the stories filled each other.
The ending was different than I imagined it to be. You have to watch this really patiently because it's so confusing.
All in all I think this was a good horror/suspense movie :)

There are some brutal scenes, but rather not to much. Aww.. and the most important! Film isn't disgusting, it means there aren't nasty scenes.

Also, I think they should've used the old camera used in The Curse 1 and 2.
So yeah, it's just mediocre, imo.
Idk if I must be upset or not, because at first I wanted to watch White Ghost first, but somehow I chose this instead after reading some "popular reviews" on Letterboxd that were full of positivity.
If I read my mutuals on Letterboxd, then I would proceed to watch White Ghost.
Either way, I will experience the same suffering.
At least, now I can watch White Ghost in peace, knowing I've watched the worst one.

The plot is fairly simple, though the non linear way of telling it may confuse some. We jump through plot lines for different characters, but they are not set in chronological order. Why was that stylistic choice made? Will never know.
What were the highlights of the movie? Voldemort in the belly of a young girl, the worst "possession" acting on the planet, weirdly timed jump scares that made me chuckle more than once.
Funny, how I just finished this movie, but I can barely remember any scene... I guess that sums it up.
