Hard to say happy ending or not hmmmmm ,,

Hmm just like other dr.qin story,, qinming always has a dark past,, the difference is there is no lintao

And it's good enough to watch for detective film lovers, pict of corpses are sometimes shown , only for autopsies nothing is shown,,

As for the story,, I just feel they opened the story by saying qinming came to help with the investigation because previous forensics go somewhere , but why they say qinming Assigned to handle that case and they say that area there is rarely have big case after the opera case 15 years ago, but in my opinion the case 15 years ago was just an ordinary case that was not big enough to cause an uproar for the public, because it was only a case of murder because of emotion and the perpetrator died on the spot. and not escape

As for acting, I don't really mind,, it's quite good and I can accept it,, plus some comedy scenes that aren't too pushy,,, it's just that Qinming's character has a poke face but his behavior is a bit stupid, compared to other Dr Qin dramas (besides movies, movie i dont like the qin ming ,more stupid than cool and smart)

And in my opinion the timing of the story is not very clear, one of the written investigation reports was 2013, and 15 years ago it was 1998,

and the time of the investigation didn't seem right, I think the distance between case 1 and the others is only a few days apart, but it turns out that it's a month difference, and I thought there was something wrong with the 26th because there was always a connection with the 26th when the case happen, and sometimes the reconstruction puzzle wasn't explained at all...

And the cut is not good and the scene placement is not right, usually when they imagine the reconstruction of the perpetrator, they say that the scene will be the same, but not in here, they always guess, and each guess is always have different scene the way the perpetrator kills, but it's normal because it's just a hypothesis,, but in this drama is different , for example they are saying that the actor will be like this, but the supporting scene, the actor is doing something different from what they say

Who done it ? It was good.

It was like any other murder mystery. But very
Enjoyable till the very end.
The male lead was hilarious.
Every thing he did when he was with his counterpart was really really funny.

Keeping the suspence till almost the entire series, making us guess "WHO DONE IT".
Is commendable.

Our guess starts from old acquaintance
Someone related to case.

Sometimes I felt the lead might be the preparator because the physique in dream sequence appeared similar to me.

What I liked
The females of the team are badass, bold and resilient.

They gain knowledge on par with their counterparts, and are quick and flexible.

I particularly liked the absent parents and change in the kids thinking.
I loved the phrases especially
TO SAY
"LOVE- IS LIKE SOMETHING WRITTEN ON SAND AND
PUNISHMENT - IS LIKE SOMETHING CARVED ON STONE"
one is easy to erase, one can't be erased or forgotten easily.
About bullying, how grudges can be carried life long, how it can destroy people.

There are some loop holes.
But can be looked over
For me it's 9/10.
Ending was reality. It happens.
It's drama.
So no feelings.

why...? :(

I quite like this drama than other series of Dr. Qin that I've already watch or peek. The other drama yes Qin Ming (QM) himself quite quirky but I find myself quite bored with the drama itself. In here they give QM his love interest & QM not as quirky as in the other series because of that, this drama also not as dark as the other series, and I love that different. the chemistry between Zhang Yu Jian & Zhou Yu Tong quite good. I can see them as lover. And I really like to see Zhang Yu Jian act so childish sometimes in here.

And the case in here in my opinion quite close to reality. I mean we often see in police drama that each case solved than they continue to other, but I don't think that the reality right...? Because police usually can't just wait for one case solved to move to another, because there are also other case that need to be solved. In here there were serial murder from the first, but the case not just stop with it, they have other case also in the middle of that serial murder case.

But why in the end they not make QM & Lin Dang (LD) as a couple still a mystery. Is it only because of the book...? Do we need to read the book to understand this...? That the bad news that this drama have.

Overall quite satisfied with this drama, really hope can see in the future when QM will gonna meet LD again & to see their relationship continue from this point.

Starts off promising but ends up being average

Yet another Medical Examiner Dr Qin series? This one isn't the best, but at least it feels better than another one that I gave up on because it felt a tad too pretentious.

Dr. Qin is in Longfan City to help out with a (serial) murder case that bears a striking resemblance to a murder he witnessed as a kid. Along the way, he helps solve several other cases. The series starts off fairly well, with the discovery of a decapitated body; the dynamics between the main characters seem rather promising. Although the cases involve murder, there seems to be something lighter in the way the relationships between the main characters are portrayed. This is almost reminiscent of the 2016 Dr Qin drama starring Zhang Ruo Yun, but there is barely any development except for a romance between Dr Qin and a police officer. The actor playing Da Bao is really cute but not given a significant part (though Da Bao was more important in the 2016 Dr Qin drama).

The series get a little boring after a while: the main serial killer case is suspended when another case happens, then the serial killer kills another person, then attention falls to yet another case. There is an attempt to connect some of the cases, but the result is not very impressive. The main serial killer case is probably supposed to be the most interesting, but it seems carelessly written. Major spoiler:

The serial killer is adopted at the age of 10, some time after his father. The father was killed fifteen years before the serial murders. This means that he is at most 25 years old when he commits the murders. However, 6 years before committing the murders, he is already a successful doctor who is almost married to a reporter--what? at the grand old age of 18-19?

In the end, the attempt to establish connections between main serial killer plot with the other cases and what has happened 15 years ago is ambitious but a failure. It would have been better to simply let the cases be unconnected and have stronger story for the serial killer. For much of the series, the scenes featuring the serial killer (even just in dreams) are done in horror-movie style. It works at the start in terms of showing how Dr Qin remains traumatized by the murder he has witnessed as a kid. However, it becomes stale after a while.

As with other Dr Qin dramas, a part of the story is about Dr Qin's father. I was expecting something interesting about why Dr Qin's father left the family years ago, but there isn't anything really interesting about it. This is a pity for the actor playing the father is rather good and could have handled a more interesting role.

Despite the flaws, the series is average fare that is worth a watch if your expectations of a drama in the genre is not too high? But there are certainly better ones to watch.
