Both series are action thrillers with violence, death, and crime. Park Hae Soo plays a main role in both.

- similar vibes where there's a "central disaster" revolving around politics
- both involve conspiracy and the government
- lots of mindgames & deception
- both suspense/thriller, though money heist is more for mature audiences
- both are adaptations from original shows

As soon as I watched Money Heist, it reminded me of Pied Piper. Both dramas deal with negotiations but Pied Piper is mainly focused negotiation with people in order to prevent bad things from happening.

They somehow share some similarities as both shows are involved with hostage-taking situation which took the part of thickening their plot. A lot of conflicts also take place in the setting that entail each of the characters' roles/stories in surviving every day they went through.

Why Similar: This series involves high-stakes heists and complex plans, similar to the strategic elements in Project Y. The show offers a mix of action and suspense with a gripping storyline.
Plot: A group of robbers with distinct codenames plan and execute a massive heist in a unified Korea.

A group of ninth-grade students from a Japanese high school have been forced by legislation to compete in a Battle Royale. The students are taken to an abandoned island, each given a bag with a randomly selected weapon and a few rations of food and water and sent off to kill each other in a no-holds-barred (with a few minor rules) game to the death, which means that the students have three days to kill each other until one survives--or they all die.
