Ju-on: The Grudge (2002)

Both pioneered the whole "america remaking asian horror" films in the early 2000s and both are about a vengeful female spirit set out on attacking anyone who crosses them. if you've seen the american version of either films you need to watch the original. they're so much better.

Both deal with curses and have similar themes of a never-ending curse.

It is really scary and it's got to be one of my favourite japanese horror films ever!
i think this film (the grudge: girl in black) is kind of based off this film? (correct me if i'm wrong) but The Grudge is definitely one to watch!!!
