Simply put, adorable.

This was such a cute, light-hearted, short show. I found the story of a runner and pacemaker refreshing. The bl genre is so full of engineer college students, this was a breath of fresh air.
I do think that it was not brought to it's full potential because it was so short. I would love to see this in a full series of 22 episodes w/ 40 mins per and see how much more the story develops.
When I learnt about the debt collectors, I got excited to see some drama and Jin Won showing strong emotions when learning about Sang Ha's situation but we got none of that and it was pushed aside as if it were nothing big. If we had longer episodes for this I would also love to see Sang Ha working day and night to fulfill the debt collector boss' request of winning the marathon and not him just winning it out of nowhere.
Now, granted I have a horrible memory but as I'm writing this, I just watched the show in it's entirety and I can't remember anything interesting or characteristic about Jin Won other than his want/need to be faster and that he can have a bit of a temper. With Sang Ha, It's a bit opposite as we learn about his past, more or less, along with his more expanded personality.
Overall great, would have been better with more time and without rushing.
If you're the type to read spoiler comments before watching, give it a watch if you have roughly 80 minutes and want something light and cute. Will recommend, was a fun series.

Apologies if you noticed this review was a bit all over the place.

Short and bittersweet!

First of all, I didn't have high expectations since I knew each episode will run less than 10 mins. I knew beforehand it will only be 8 episodes, so I wasn't expecting much depth and skinship. But whoa, so much feels in such a short window. I found myself paying close attention to every scene , not missing anything. Each facial expression, each dialougue. monologue, - the scenes were all worth it! Although I wish to see more after JW confessed, it's okay because I will just let my imagination do the trick! JW's conflict is super cute and SH being so straightforward in what he wants is very refreshing. Unlike most BL characters who ponder and ponder for episodes long , it's nice to see a character who is sure of what he wants and pursued from the very beginning without a doubt in his heart. The actor who played JW , as a new actor, he is superb! I connected well to his character and the emotional scenes were executed so well. Like all Korean BLs, i hope it would run longer.

Beautiful friendship turn love

Unbelievably awesome. The start of a beautiful friendship then love. The cast did an amazing job, the writer wrote a great script. This is the story about 2 boys that meet in high school 1)Sang ha who has a crush on jin woo and would leave milk on top of his locker everyday. Jin woo was a long distant runner and before leaving to college he runs into sang ha who tell him he need the code for his new locker. They meet 2yrs later in college and jin woo is in a little slump making his running time so the coach bring in sang ha as his paser and he's not to happy. So he goes home and has prob sleeping so goes for a run once tired he goes home to sleep and wakes up next to sang ha after a much needed sleep. This is where he learns why sang ha was leaving milk and had same door numbers. From here there friendship turns to love. A must see

You should really watch it

All i have to say is that this BL gave me a lot of mood changes. If a show can give you so much emotion, then you know it's good. At first i didn't like Cheon Seung Ho, but then i started to get why he was like that. I love Lee se jin's concept of not wanting the job, because he liked running and running as a duty is just not that fun anymore. Also those two loan sharks. I really kinda liked them, they were so nice and funny. yea yea but they're the bad guys, well they weren't as bad as the main one.

Mini second season(?)!!!

I don't have much to say, I think it was a refreshing series even if it was short, just like 'Where your eyes linger' (The only thing is that this one was a little more funny, whereas WYEL was more serious). Loved both of the actors, and their chemistry was great. I would love a second mini season. Both of the actors make you fall in love with them and the series, the trainer and the friend were also very natural and I loved their roles. Yas we love to see it Korea! Keep it going. Much love for this series. 10!10

122/30/2021 No because I had to rewatch the series, it does not deserve a 10/10...

Mr.Heart Will Steal Your Heart, But Sadly In Small Doses

Okay so here's the thing. This series needed to be WAY LONGER wth! I don't really know any of the information surrounding it, I only knew that it showed up on my Viki account and I was look OOH! I need to watch that, so I did! Bare in mind I also watched this without subtitles (for the most part) so if I screwed up my translation on anything my bad. But I think I'm okay lol

Each episode was about 12/13 minutes long and that's not enough to establish a totally fully fledged story. It was enough for me to get invested though and I would recommend binging this if you have some time to kill. It really is quite a cute story and I'm hoping this garners enough attention so a sequel is discussed maybe?

The real star of this show is Lee Se Jin as Sang Ha, he was so freaking adorable, charming, funny and heartbreaking all wrapped up in one gumdrop of a package. Seriously him talking about his mom dying, paying off the medical loans and being lonely. UGH my heart! His character I'll miss the most if we only get this series! Cheon Seung Ho as Jin Won was good too, but just different character styles and I prefer Sang Ha. Putting these 2 together though was adorable though. I wish we had more time with them! The track stuff was all interesting and though the debt/loan sharks thing got a little over the top it was still gripping, I wanted to see them develop together more! Give me more carton milk exchanges, running montages together and keypad bedroom scenes danggit! Though that last episode did find a way to wrap it up nicely.

Again, second season please! I haven't seen many Kdrama's involving lgbtq couples and there needs to be more representation! I'm not just saying this as a person learning the language, I'm also saying this as someone who sees how far Korea has come with its openness to these important topics. Hwaiting! Let's keep going!

Pretty average

I can't speak for the entirety of the series since I've dropped it at the 3rd episode, but from what I've seen it's pretty mediocre. Yes, it's cute, but it's that type of cute where you can tell they're trying reallyyy hard to come across that way.
The actors are both around 25 years old, and their characters must be around 22 and 19 respectively. How come the younger character acts like an 8 year old? Yes, he's a freshman, and therefore younger than his partner, but so am I, and I have never seen anyone my age act that way. I have no problem with some cute moments, but when the entirety of the character's personality is based on being cute, quirky, and pouty like a child it really does bother me.
The length of the episodes irked me, and I don't know why, because I've watched series much shorter than that (First Love story only has 2 episodes of around 9 mins each) and loved them - but in this one it just feels like nothing is happening at all. And considering how this series only has 9 episodes, I'm just wondering, where is the story going?
I would recommend watching 'Cherry Blossoms After Winter' instead of this one, or even better, 'Our Dating Sim'. The latter is an example of how to write cute characters without infantilizing them.

Romance on the run

As the episodes were short, I was able to watch them all in one sitting. In comparison to countries like Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, there are not as many that originate from South Korea so I was pleased and delighted to be able to view this offering with its most original storyline that posed unique challenges. The two young male leads had first to be attractive, they had to be able to act well, be in good physical shape to do all that running and finally had to be a convincing BL couple, and in all those areas they passed with flying colours. It tells the story of the celebrated marathon runner Jin Hon, who is tall, handsome, rich, stern and focused, and Sung Ha, who has the room next door in the dorm building they live in to which he soon has the same number combination to open each other's doors, who is shorter, cute, poor and also a runner. Sung Ha is attracted to Jin Hon and secretly leaves cartons of milk for him on top of his locker until he's eventually discovered. It's fun watching him steal kisses from Jun Ho. One thing leads to another and Sung Ha quickly finds himself Jin Hon's pacemaker. I found this drama to be absorbing and entertaining, excellently filmed, produced and directed. There was just enough romance to keep it true to its genre from beginning to end. Mention must be made of the music that was heard throughout, mostly songs that reflected what was happening onscreen and were well -chosen. Highly recommended.

light and fun story, simply about 2 young men who fell in love through a common passion

I don't agree with some reviews that the story was rushed and disjointed. Sang Ha had a sad past, he has huge debts which he had to pay off. the actor portraying Sang Ha was perfect - handsome, has those little expressions which just shows how uncomfortable the character is at certain moments. i love how he's always trying to steal kisses from Jin Won

Jin Won was meh. almost expressionless throughout the series. It was Sang Ha's cute animated expressions that kept me going. Deducted a star cos of him

One thing great was that none of them faltered at kiss scene. very professional in that aspect.

A simple love story and feel good show. Worth a rewatch to lift heavy moods in the day. Hope to see more of Se Jin.

Check out the soundtrack. Great accompanying music

I liked the chemistry between the leads and the supporting cast was also cute. But the plot felt unnecessarily complicated.

I didn’t understand why Sangha couldn’t simply sign the contract and get the money he so desperately needed, legally and honestly. I mean, sure, he wanted Jinwon’s heart - but come on! He literally had gangsters on his butt who threatened him with violence. And Jinwon was offering him the money for an actual job done, not as some charity. If he simply told Jinwon’s the truth considering that Jinwon already knew about Sangha’s debts anyway, Sangha himself told him! And then, after the marathon, instead of talking to Jinwon Sangha just ran and went all Romeo-n-Juliet, oh, my life has ended! without even trying to talk to Jinwon? Like… what? Teenage drama queen much?

To sum it up, the drama had its highlights and the shipping part was really sweet but I did like Where Your Eyes Linger better because I could actually understand why its characters behaved the way they did.

It ran with my heart. UwU

I can't stop fangirling over this show. I loved it so much! When I say it was quick and sweet, I'm not taking away from the heart clench that happens, lemme tell ya, I thought my heart dropped completely out of my butt with what happened. Lemme just say, the average length of these episodes is 11 minutes and there are 8 episodes. I felt every single one and I'm sure you will to. That's a fact. I don't think they could have casted any better actors. From start to finish you are instantly hooked and in love with the characters. Yes, every single one of them. Even the coach who reminds me of J-Hope. Lol Don't @ me. Totally gave me Hobi vives by how he acted and was just adorable. Lol I really wish this show was longer. I didn't want to see it end. I feel like I just said goodbye to some of my close friends. I HAVE A VOID, DANGIT!! How did this happen?! I really wish I could write a never ending review about this show but my brain is stuck in fangirl mode where every thought is consumed with this show and the need to either rewatch it or find another one to lose more of my life to. Lol
I highly recommend Mr. Heart!
definitely a top 5 favorite BL for me.

Cute but short!
I must say this show is pretty predictable but it is super cute!
I decided to give my rating because it was cute and the actors were great. I do wish they would have expanded more story wise. I think they did what they could within 8 episodes. Had this been a 12 episode show, I think it would have given the characters a bit more time to develop and that would allow us to love them and understand them more.
Overall though it was very cute and worth the watch. It won't take long to watch and you'll finish the show feeling happy. What more can you ask for?
