Watching this is a good use of your time
Some of the reviews confuse me - I thought the plot was coherent and understandable, and the acting was good. The chemistry wasn't burning hot, but that really isn't the characters - both of them have never been in love before.Anyway, I will agree that the loanshark plot element was unnecessary and would have been better left out. It didn't ruin the series, but it chewed up time that could have been spent on the characters. For example, I felt like there was a step left out of the progression of Jin Won's feelings.
There are a few tired BL staples, like the taller one catching the shorter one when he's falling, etc., but it didn't bother me that much because normally it's the fall that actually generates the interest, whereas that's not the case for either character. The moment Jin Won falls in love is motivated and makes sense in the plot, and we see the full back-story of Sang Ha's feelings.
Lee Se Jin is a better actor than Cheon Sung Ho, but he also has a more realized character to play, and holy mother of God is he cute. Seriously, you almost feel like you should kick a puppy so the balance of the universe isn't upset. But CSH does a good job and he does subtly show us Jin Won's feelings underneath the bravado.
I gave it a high re-watch rating because I rewatched it. This won't change your life, and the other two series are better than this (BTW, Jang Eui Soo has a cameo), but you will smile a lot and be happy, so I would watch if if I were you, because if you're reading this, you're likely another BL fan and this checks the boxes.
The title is odd - the Korean title doesn't use the Korean word for "heart" but rather spells the English word "heart" (as approximately as you can with the Korean alphabet). I don't know what that's about, but The Pacemaker would have been better since the most common use of that word is to describe a device that makes your heart beat.

A beautiful story, worth a light watch
The story in itself is well written.ML, Go Sangha is a childish boy, but he had to mature in certain areas of life because he was orphaned at a young age, and works to pay off the debt till almost the end. Almost. Though you don't understand why the ML does the things he does while the scene is going on, you do get a clear idea of how he feels about everything in his life. His passion for whatever he does is beautiful, and in short, an enjoyable character. He has been portrayed beautifully by the actor, so loud shout outs to the actor (mfr was cute asf tho dang)
The other ML was the kinda hinge for me. His character from the start seems to be the kind of "school jerk" personality, and the flashbacks only bolden that image. I just wish we were given a little more insight into his life, since we get a short clipping as to how his father is against his running. His character in all is enjoyable, though it doesnt stand out as much as Sangha's does.
Though this seems to be the cliche high school/ university one side pining love story, as the series progresses it gets better. So i wud highly recommend this to anyone!
PS: HIGH reewatch value. Some scenes are just too cute/deep to be handled with one watch. Or maybe its just me simping over the ML but- yeah.

Cute But Short
This is a really short, but cute BL story. It's a miniseries that really should have been a movie at eight episodes, each about ten minutes long. While I enjoyed Mr. Heart, the plot was not fleshed out, and I would have liked to see more in depth scenes between the two. We get a couple cutesy kisses between the male leads, and the two definitely have chemistry. I would not have complained in the slightest if this had been extended for a deeper story, and getting to know the characters themselves. Their motives and such. They gave us quick glimpses into their home lives and backstories, but it was merely that. A very short glimpse. At the length, it really should have been just a quick, cutesy miniseries. Barring that, it was a nice filler watch, and I hope for more Korean BL's in the future. All in all, I would say give it a watch as it's short and sweet.

Heart Fluttering BL
I just rewatched this and still love it! It's heart fluttering cute BL.I learnt sth new about pacemaker and found the concept interesting. I also love how the ML actually trained his running skills due to his life situation. What a blessing in disguise
There are lots of cute little moment as well as touching moments. The sincerity of the ML really touches my heart , It's also inspiring to see the impact one person' life has on another, something that might be nothing for you may mean the world for others. It's deep and meaningful in its own way, although it's overall lighthearted and entertaining
Is there plothole? Yes
Is it perfect? No
Is it satisfying to watch? YES!
If you're just here for feel good BL, you're in right place

FLULLY and a breeze to watch. A step back from WYEL.
Story: Concise, simple, linear and because of that, it was executed very well. The simplicity of it made the story unable to include other character arcs. Even the two main characters story was too shallow.Acting: There were acting hiccuffs, but the casting was great. There was chemistry among the two actors. But not enough characterization was made, maybe because it was too short.
Music: I can almost dance into the beat of its OST.
Rewatch Value: Will probably pick this up again when all the up-coming BLs had depleted :)

Lighthearted and fast paced watch!
I see a lot of negative reviews for this drama, which I find such a shame! I understand how people could dislike how the main romance and SangHa's side plot feel disconnected but this is one of the reasons why I like it! The underlying 'serious plot' wasn't taken too seriously, which makes even the bad guys loveable and funny, and the side plot quite ridiculous! This is why I liked it better than "Where your Eyes Linger" that I found too serious too fast and a bit forced. Other than "Where Your Eyes Linger" this drama was well-paced and very cute! BL dramas are too short to have a really deep/serious storyline, so I liked how the main plot is as simple as this. I flew through the episodes and the performance of the leads was very impressive! Overall just very loveable drama. Was this review helpful to you?
hearty KBL
The plot and the flow of the story is good, but just like "Where Your Eyes Linger" they only have 10ish mins per episode. i hope they give KBLs the same treatment as their usual Kdramas spanning up to 1hr+ per episode. i also love how Eui Soo made a cameo in this series , same as Seungho's cameo on WYEL. At first glace i thought the 2 leads were a mismatch , it took me a while to get how their differences somehow created a good chemistry.2 more episode left , and looks like it's going to be a little bit darker towards the end, hope they finish strong.

It was meh
Definitely didn’t give. Maybe I should have just finished it and shut up but I genuinely couldn’t everything felt awkward and weird. The storyline was boring then chemistry was eh and it didn’t understand where the story was going. I had to force myself to watch 6 eps then eventually just gave up. I kinda forgot the plot too i just remember the guy running and the other guy running then he started bleeding????? Guys i don’t remember what was even the plot is it right for me to rate it this low and right this review, probably notWas this review helpful to you?
Got up to ep6
not gonna lie i only got to watch up to ep 6 so far it's good but i would go for some steamy kiss scenes. If you know what i mean don't get me wrong it made my heart race a bit but it was way too damn pure to make my heart to race for a complete minute. Look there should be a balance okay. i have watch/ read BL movies/manga to know that there is a balance it not too much of it. I am not saying i hate it i like it but i want more than just 8 episode if it was the regular drama we get 16+ episode and i am talking about those heterosexual drama, it's annoy that this doesn't get more episode like seriously. Anyways everything was excellent. If anyone want to watch a pure BL dram i guess i would recommend this. Oh and if anyone got more south Korea BL drama/movie just tell me i would love to watch them because i just like BL movies/drama/manga/comic hell anything that have a BL ship and i mean actual BL ship.i cant wait for the next 2 episode.just complete the 8 episode but seriously they just give 8 episode and it was 11 minute like what the hell. they did add in like 1 or 2 lip touching scene i would like an actual kiss or you know steamy kiss scene . They way they kiss was way too damn innocent it's like 2 kid lips just touch accidentally. Look i am not goon trash talk this because of that but i really wanted them to actually kiss and i hope you people know what i mean. well anyways look pass that if they would have give more episode maybe i we would have seen their relationship to grow??, what i am trying to say is that i want more episode like the 8 episode shouldn't count cause the regular drama get 16+ep and 1 hr long while we get 8 ep and less than 11 minutes like come on dude what the hell. like i said in my previous review the show was pure it for the people who just start their relationship. not gonna lie there was an episode that actually made my heart race it was one of the last 2 ep it was where the Lee Se Jin and Cheon Seung Ho was dancing it was cute and yes they kiss but like maybe 1 or 2 minutes look it was way too fast and my fujoshi mind went on overdrive for no reason. i just realize i trash talk this show it's my opinion look pass my bias opinion on their kiss scenes. Like i said before it's for people who are starting their relationship the show isn't for everyone especially for people like me but i would recommend it to people that are starting a relationship to look at this because it's cute and pure. anyways i like e Lee Se Jin character that he played in this drama because his character was more of like a passive-aggressive Uke(bottom) which was cute.

My Low Expectations .... I'm An Idiot.
I had very loooooow expectations of this BL, I put it off cos of how short it was. 11 Minutes, So I thought that with little screen time, how was the series suppose to be good and the chemistry between the male leads meant to work? But damn, I was wrong. The chemistry between the male leads was 10/10. So far from what I've seen, Korea has been bringing out some REALLLLLY good BL's lately. Color Rush, To My Star... Like whhhhat. I would highly recommend this one to watch if you like cute and fluffy BL's. The only thing I disliked about it and the only reason I didn't wanna watch it, was because of how short it was. I truly wished there was more and longer episodes. So if you're putting it off cos of how short it is. Don't. Just watch it. You wont be disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?
I liked the chemistry between the main couple but I feel like I need more.
THE SHOW IN ALL:The show itself was pretty good. I liked the main couple well enough too. At the same time, though, while the chemistry between the actors was good... the relationship between the main couple felt a little rushed and it kind of left me hanging. I hope they give me more because I feel like I want be satisfied until I get what I feel like is a real conclusion. Even though this is basically a movie cut into smaller segments and it's (technically) pretty long for a movie... it felt like they just shoved everything together. I feel like with In Ha especially... I needed more than I actually got.
CHARACTERS:
I liked all the main characters. No one rubbed me the wrong way (villains included -- as funny as that may sound) and I think there was pretty strong chemistry. I wish I'd gotten more of a back story, though, especially for In Ha. He would've been an even better character if they hadn't crammed his entire backstory into only a few minutes worth of watching. This show honestly would've been great as a full-on drama instead of a movie because all the characters had so much going for them. While I'm sad at all the wasted potential, I think the actors were great and they really did a good job conveying the character's emotions — especially during scenes where there were conflict.
