if you liked the aesthetics and vibe of the smile code you might really like 'out of the dream'

out of the dream is a bit paced paced in comparison to the smile code.

they both have two couples in the forming, where the male lead is best friends with the second female lead.

please try 'out of the dream' , its underrated in my opinion and a lovely drama that surprised me when i watched it for the first time.

I think they give similar vibes since they're both related to music but LBTM has a fantasy element.

Both dramas are about stage play / theater group and feature what goes on behind the scenes of these groups.

NVF focuses on a popular online celebrity/actor becoming a performer on a theatre stage.
OOTD is about peking opera stage performance + romance.


They’re both about overcoming prejudice, scandals, etc.
