This is the opposite princess in Bossam and prince in 100 days my prince
Prince / princess stayed with poor ML/FL.
Prince / princess got announced to be dead.
Prince / princess got hunted to be killed.
The poor ML/FL is supposed to be born in noble family.
Both drama have similar village view.

Its just my opinion. Lets enjoy the show ???

Like Bossam, in Maids we have a relatively well off female aristocrat who is uprooted from a sheltered life and must adjust to a peasant's reality.
The process is not smoothened by an initially harsh male lead who has lived that reality for most of his life, while hints are tossed around that his social status is something greater.
Similarly there is the presence of a former love interest of similar status to the female lead who is even after her fall from grace, still eager to keep the flame alive whatever the cost.

Bossam is still only on episode 10 of airing, but it kind of reminds me of the first half or so of River Where the Moon Rises. While the characters of both shows have little to nothing in common personality-wise, both shows are about a princess that is supposedly dead (FL), and a man with a tragic backstory that lives in hiding (ML). There’s also palace politics and scheming, with one family in particular where the son is in love with the princess (SML). The SML seems to have a constant struggle between having to choose between his family and protecting the person he cares for, and the FL and the ML just want to live in peace but can’t seem to catch a break.

-FLs lead a hard life in their previous families and struggle to establish a strong foothold in their newfound families.
-Both MLs before they get their titles had children with some materialistic woman, who troubles who re-enters into their life when they became rich.

•Jung Il Woo takes the role of the main character in both drama, proving he can play both a commoner and a royal
•Secrets, palace and common life intrigues, injustice.
• moody historical drama with beautiful cinematography and OST

Both stories share a ML that does shady things for a living, but are sweet hearted at the same time that they would do anything to protect their loved ones even start a rebellion (like in rebel: thief who stole the people).

Also in both the king has a unstable state of mind, gets manipulated by a woman and had daddy issues...

The vive in both is really positive, the protagonists are always plotting something but for the grater good and against of the evil power.

Even one of the main songs that come from the Joseon era folklore is present in both, in one sung by a woman and in the other by a man.

Both dramas feature a child of King Gwanghae who ended up being abandoned by their father. Both Nokdu and Sookyung ended up finding love with someone who turned out to be survivors of officials who had been executed due to being falsely charged with treason. Both dramas ending up with the abandoned children of King Gwanghae inevitably having a hand in aiding Prince Neungyang to take over the throne from the previous king. While the events playing in both dramas happened differently, it was interesting to see the different portrayals of King Gwanghae and Prince Neungyang and how that affect the story that unfolded.

Both FLs were widowed on the day of their marriage and both dramas are set during a time when widows cannot remarry. Both MLs change their identities and live a peasant life after a tragedy.

Another drama with the same male and female leads but it is a historical drama. Take this as the modern reincarnation of the "Bossam: Steal the Fate" couple. LOL

I find similarities in these two dramas because they both take place outside of the palace. Also, the feel is quite gritty and the cinematography is gorgeous.

The romance is a slowburn and ML is quite a mystery.

Very different in tone, but both are historical Korean dramas with MLs whose job involves marriage and who have left or been forced to leave their noble class background.

Same writers, missing crown prince is a spin-off of Bossam but there isn't any actual relation between the two dramas
