Season: 1

The six Tees converge at Watee's home in the wake of his mother's death. A hostile landlord, Watee outlines elaborate rules and restrictions to his five roommates. Maytee immediately creates a stir by demanding both a bed instead of the proffered couch—for which he pays extra—and a roommate, a position T-Rex is pleased to fill. Teedo is nearly evicted when his girlfriend's arrival violates Watee's rules. T-Rex has a secret. (Source: MyDramaList)

Fine, you're not BL. But what are you?

What do you call a series that knows it will draw a lot of BL fans by casting six actors known for the three BL couples they have played previously but unequivocally declares that it's not BL?While I often feel that it is unfair for fans to dismiss a series because it isn't BL, I also often bash series that bait BL fans only to disappoint them. This series seems neither, but the choice of casting six actors who have played three famous fictional BL couples (it's not even six actors who have played BL roles before) seems deliberate even if there is no overt BL baiting in the story itself.By the end of Episode 1, it seems to be a lighthearted and potentially likable series with fairly cute characters. But will it turn out well?

Better Than Expected...

When this series was first announced, I thought that the idea was dumb to be honest. The trailer didn't help either. It was like GMMTV wanted to have their BL trinity couples all in one series & thought that having them as roommates was the best idea. It seemed like the story was going to be pushed to the side in favour of fan service (or at least as much fan service possible from straight characters). And upon watching the first episode, I wasn't wrong. The story was quite messy and random. However, I do admit that I found myself enjoying the series about halfway through watching the episode and by the end, I was interested in seeing how this story will play out.
