Both are stories about mothers and children and the social system in Japan. Although one deals with autism, and one is about a child who kills someone, they are heartwarming as well as tragic.

Both drama have same plot...Showing the struggle of both the victim's and perpetrator's family and how they overcome this incident to find their hapiness.

Both are heartwarming dramas dealing with humanity, tragedy, and all those things that make all of us (even the most cold-hearted) feel those emotions we keep buried inside.

Both stories confront the concept of childhood innocence and the psychology behind acts of cruelty committed by children.

Parent, child and a crime in between.
Although the set up is completely different, the main purpose of the both drama are same, rebuilding a broken relationship between a mother, son, and the whole family.
