Indulging in physical pleasure and substances, Little Hai desires freedom. "Fragile in Love" is an experimental short that rebels against the suppression of electronic music culture and gay house parties. Xiao Hai visits a high party in the silent deep blue ocean. At the terminal station along the coast of his ventures into different friendships, he misses his boyfriend Yu. The beauty of the male body
I have to say that this short erotic film had only an average effect on me. It's not so much about the erotic scenes (or soft) as it is about the beauty of the male body and its partly artistic rendering of its presentation - in this case in the East Asian type of physique and processing. There isn't much dialogue, which is good for this type of film…I have to say that this short erotic film had only an average effect on me. Acting/Cast: I did not even realize that Chris Wu is in this short film, until I saw the credits. What a waste of talent but I guess everybody has to start somewhere.
Music: Head-achy, the same as the strobing lights filtering throughout the short film.
Rewatch Value: Once is enough.
Overall: This short is trying to pass as film noir by interspersing the dialogue with the lines of two poems, but it came across more as a low-budget porn film that does not even satisfy. Please give me back 13 minutes of my time.
