It needs a 2nd season...
This show is cute, but it literally feels like the actual story just started when it ends. I'm hoping that there is another season or something or else it will feel very unfinished.I was unfamiliar with the actors/actresses, but they all did a good job. The ML and FL were fun to watch together, but that didn't really happen until about the last 2 episodes and felt like their story was only beginning.
If there isn't a continuation of the story in some way, then I can't really recommend the show because of unfinished feeling it leaves, but if there ends up being a part two then I think it's worth checking out.

visual treat that needs a second season
What I liked:- captivating visuals: the seaside, the India-themed guest house with a unique charm
- acting: I think all the actors did a good job and contributed to the drama being enjoyable
- friendship: the girls working at the guest house and their boss have just the sweetest relationship
The story of the main leads (aka. the romance) barely starts in the last few episodes and they need more screen time together, either a second season or being developed into a full 16 ep of 1 hr drama. On the other hand, since the story isn't "complete" it feels more suitable for a rewatch at least to me.
It's a very short drama so I'd say give it a try for the visuals and friendship, but don't expect a satisfying romance.

really fun
i really enjoyed this drama. the plot was simple yet engaging, and the unique elements including scenery, music, and vibes made it a really fun watch. i enjoyed the scenic shots all throughout, and the cast was also so great, the main leads have a lot of chemistry. being a south asian individual myself, it was nice to see some rep in the little anecdotes regarding India, especially lassi cus I love mango lassi lolalso just read into it and this webdrama was titled "a ticket to india" because the story was originally set in India and the production team was planning on flying out there to film. They had already released the title and plot and such when they were collecting funds for the project, and they even reached their target fund amount. But alas, COVID hit, and they could no longer fly out to India.
Thus, they opted to film on Jeju island, incorporating elements of Indian culture to still stay somewhat on theme. From what I read online, it looks like the team instead stated that they are planning a s2 where they will actually fly out to India, to compensate for not being able to film s1 abroad.
I personally really enjoyed the first season a lot, it was really cute. Would love to see a S2, whether it takes place in India or not, I am SAT.
