Kotoko's fantasies after receiving the kiss from Naoki are interrupted by Matsumoto Yuko, an intelligent and beautiful young woman who also appears to have her eye on him. Kotoko decides that joining the tennis club will be the best way to stay close to Naoki. However, she ends up only getting injuries and going to tiring practices which Naoki does not attend. Kotoko's father sees her suffering and tells her that perhaps it's time for them to move out of the Irie family's house.

silly

This one was excessively silly. At this point she's supposedly 18, but you would never guess it. Joining a tennis club when she's never played a day in her life. And I feel like she was overacting a bit here, the lip pursing thing is getting annoying, and I would have given up Irie-kun long ago since he's such deliberately hurtful jerk.

Reminds me of the anime.

not so much sweetness in this episode, but the development of the characters are clearly seen, especially Irie-kun.
Kotoko is freaking cute as ever, and Kin-chan is very sweet. :3

He is damn too sexy!!!

Irie's smile is to die for!

OK so I watch that episode and I was re-watching Irie's scenes... His eyes, his smile, his behavior... He is perfect ,ok?

I love how he teases her by being cold but at the same time he's jealous and nervous about her.But I hope the teases will end so that she won't give up on him.

The leaning scene was too good to be true.kekeke
And the last scene...Wow
His reaction to her moving was great, he was really showing surprise and sadness and these words... "FINALLY I CAN GO BACK TO LIVING LIKE I USED TO." Wow!!!
I was puzzled myself as well, especially if I was at her place.

Can't wait til the next episode...OMFG

By the way, 16 episodes? really? The plot is progressing pretty fast though

Kotoko vs. Sudou

Oh My! I laughed so much at that part, the way she was running from the tennis ball, how she fainted after being hit on her nose and the way Naoki was laughing at her: No version has done it this way!

Other than that, the ep was good. I especially liked how Kin-chan was working hard and trying his best to achieve what he want, at least they're giving him credit in this version.

Also, the new cast seems promising especially Sudou.

sugoku kawaii! ^^

Can I just say first how completely adorable Kotoko is? I want to hug her so bad! Her facial expressions and awkward, clumsy movements never fail to amuse me, and although she looks very young, that's the way she's supposed to look. She also looks so pretty with her hair down!
I find Kin-chan's straightforward and honest personality very charming, I really love his character in this version. Kin-chan's "love power" is awesome, Kin-chan fighto!
Naoki's facial expressions are also fun to watch, especially when they completely contradict what he's saying. That moment when Kotoko's looking at Kin-chan and he's looking at Kotoko- perfect. We get a sense of what he's really feeling inside. Whenever Naoki teases Kotoko, especially when he's leaning in as if he's going to kiss her, I always start to squeal! I also squeal whenever Yuki/Naoki smiles or laughs, he just way too cute!
Overall, loved this episode and can't wait for the next!

adorable episode. *---*

I've just watched the sixth episode and i need to watch the next one. I really like a lot the main characters of this version. Both of them are really adorable and Irie's smile is wonderful, every time he smiles i smile too, he's very handsome. Kotoko is sweet and naive, she's really nice too, it's impossible not to root for her. çwç and omg I'm loving this drama so much. Irie and Kotoko are so adorable together and see Irie jealous of her is amazing. ?
From the trailer, the next episode will be even more interesting, I'm looking forward to watch it. *--*

It's like a drug...

....that you just have to get more and more of, I loved this episode. And Irie's smile is to die for!

I'd like to say that this episode was the weakest of them but I also like that you can see that Irie gets jealous when Kotoko speaks to Kin-chan :D

Can't wait for the next epsiode!

LOVE!!

I just can't get enough!! This would be the best version of all the versions if the taiwanese main couple didn't have such a strong chemistry.

Gah I love how they show how Yuki cares abou Naoki but hides it.

I hope they make 2 seasons just like the taiwanese version because I really love this version

Not sure what to say.

I have to say, this isn't my favorite episode.
Kotoko is such a stalker... I LOVE IT.
When I was younger I was exactly like her, I would follow my crushes around and join clubs just to get close to them, that's why I found it entertaining and fresh.

I love how Naoki is starting to get jealous. I heard that in the Korean version he was REALLY COLD and emotionless for most (if not all) of the drama, so I'm glad this one actually shows some human emotion. .-.

Overall, a very funny and entertaining episode but not too much progress in regards to Irie-Kotoko relationship status. I think I didn't enjoy it as much as I would've otherwise due to the fact that I waited TWO WEEKS and had VERY HIGH expectations.

The promo for the next episode looks promising. ^^ Can't wait.

warming up to it

Furukawa Yuki as Naoki was very good in this. His character seems to be paying a lot more attention to Kotoko at this point, jealousy wise, than in the versions.

Kotoko's stalking reaches creepy levels in this, but thankfully, the very sensible father intervenes and saves us from more. Just in time.

The relationship between Kotoko and Kin-chan is much more warm in this series than in the other versions, which is very nice to watch.
The senior who becomes a freak on the tennis court, showed a lot of over acting, and is not as good compared to his other language counterparts.
I also like all the blazers Kotoko and Naoki wear. Looks smart.
