As for the acting, I think all of the actors did a great job with their characters. None of them really looked like high school students, but it didn't matter. It was pretty much an all star cast. Too bad the veteran actresses stole the show. Kim Ki Kyung as Eun Sang's mom and Kim Sung Ryung as Kim Tan's mom were just too funny and their relationship was fully developed and fun to watch. I enjoyed their part in the drama the most.
The music for the most part was just horrible.
I won't rewatch this.
If you are looking for something that doesn't make you think and you want to see hot guys...Lee Min Ho, Kim Woo Bin, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kang Ha Neul, etc...then this is the drama to watch.

Indeed, a heck of a lot of first world problems but the story is still interesting. I would love to say the characters are interesting but Kim Tan played by Lee Min Ho, is dull uninteresting and a character we have to take at face value. He lacks any real power or motivation that I am an emotional rock to his pain and even when he's taking action, it just feels very face value. He never in the end has to work hard to make things happen. Eunsang is equally dull and boring and so devoid of power, it's frightening. She almost makes no decision herself. She is dragged around and toyed with everywhere. She is also either bipolar or strange. There are moments she seems genuinely frightened at Young Do to the point of shaking then the next moment she is lecturing him, making us confused. No worries though, should she be in any real trouble there are countless men willing to save her.
The saving grace is Young Do and it's not because I like Kim Woo Bin because I genuinely liked Young Do's character. He's a self aware mess. He's very aware of his flaws but he still makes no attempt to fix them because he's not ready to acknowledge his pain. It makes for a compelling character who's flawed yet to some extent understandable.
The best part of the series are the last three episodes, not because the series ends but the directing is stellar, the acting picks up a notch and the script really delivers. There are very simple and poignant moments that transcend this drama from being a guilty pleasure to genuinely enjoyable.
However, overall, points were docked for my indifference to the two main characters and a lot of this cast. Some nonsensical plot devices and character changes. There was just a lot honestly, that didn't necessarily need to be there. I must also admit, at the end the conflicts were kind of unnecessary and also nonsensical.

First of all,I'm surprise at myself because I finished this kinda drama without a pause in the middle of the story like I usually did by marathoning a drama of this 'kind'.I guess this is the effect of Woo Bin &Jin Hyuk had on me :PTo make things easier I'll just write what I like and dislike from He Who Wears the Crown, Endure Its Weight *I think if there's an award of the longest/most drama name,Heirs will win.Clap3x!* WARNING:may contain a little spoiler.
What I like from Heirs:
1)Kim Woo Bin
2)Choi Jin Hyuk
3)Choi Young Do(Kim Woo Bin's character)I love his character as a bad boy in Heirs. He played this role successfully.I know he'll be the next big star when I first discovered him in AGD.That's my oppa! ^^o (just forgive/ignore my fangirl words)
4)Chan Young &Bo Na couple. This couple never fail in making me laugh in every scene they're in.They're the only couple that I always looking forward to in Heirs.
5) Kim Tan's true mother. I think that she's the best mom ever exist in k-dramaland.Her character unlike those annoying typical rich moms in this land. She's funny, beautiful, elegant & honest to her feeling.
6)Bromance between Young Do&Kim Tan, Kim Tan &Kim Won.
What I dislike from Heirs:
1)Lee Min Ho as Kim Tan. He's chincha2 too old to act as a 18 years old kid when his real age is 26 and I can see the age when I see him here (Maybe I can consider if he have a babyface but the truth is, he's not..)Just please stop playing this kinda role Min Ho ya.
2)Park Shin Hye's character. Weak and always crying, that made me feel immune already to any sad feeling whenever the melodrama element is being played. And nothing much happened to her character.Such a boring and underdeveloped character for a lead lady.
3)Love is the moment song! How much I hate hearing it whenever this song being played. Why could'nt they make a better song than this? If they've succeed to cast all the best actors out there why can't they take in the best composer or whatever that can contribute for a better OST :S None of the OST hardly catch my inner feeling. That's the reason I gave 4 for the music.
4)The storyline.I really2 don't know what happened to the writer while writing this drama.I really loved 3 drama of her previous work though. It's like the burden of having too many big hotzz handsomezz actors playing her piece eating her writer's mind inside. I also think she focus too much on building a good dialogue rather than a good storyline.I praise Heirs for it's comedic element only. Also, there's nothing new to the story as we already seen it before in countless of drama with Chaebol as a center of the story. A chaebol's heir fall in love with a poor heroin but mr daddy did'nt like poor girl dating his son and forsure trying to split them, love triangle etc..
That's all.Watch this if you're a fan of Lee Min Ho/Kim Woo Bin/Choi Jin Hyuk/Park Shin Hye/Kang Ha Neul/Kang Min Hyuk or Krystal only. Because you might drop this drama if you're not. Thanks for reading my 2 cents :)

So, let's get the bad things out of the way first. The story was awful. Nothing really happened. It was a big circle with lots of little circles in it. The narration at the end even says something like "not much has changed," and I agree. A few things get a little better, a few things get worse, but mostly nothing's different. Another problem with it was that there were way too many characters. It made it hard for any of them to have time to be fully developed. The music was awful and annoying. Not much more I can say about it besides that. And a lot of the costumes were horrible. (*cough*uglysweaters*cough*)
Now, on to the characters. This is kind of a gray area as far as good or bad. I really couldn't get into the leads at all. Kim Tan was a character I had a hard time rooting for. It's a pity because I actually liked Lee Min Ho's acting despite the character he had to work with. The kid's acting improves with each drama he's in. Cha Eun Sang was pretty much just your typical cliche female lead. There wasn't much chemistry between them either. t lot of the parents were annoying and just there to cause drama. There were so many wasted characters, like big bro Won and his love interest.
But then there were the characters who made up for the awful ones. So many amazing characters! Characters who kept me watching through the crappy storyline. Choi Young Do was the best character. A bit psychotic, but still the best. I didn't ship him with Eun Sang or anything, but I loved every scene he was in. And Kim Woo Bin did an amazing job playing him. I really think that boy needs the chance at a lead. Chan Young and Bo Na were also my favorites. Such a cute couple and really good friends to everyone. I loved the relationship between Tan and Eun Sang's mothers. Hyo Shin was a great character who I wish would've been given more chance to develop. Overall, a really great supporting cast.
So, basically, dumb story, boring leads, but an amazing supporting cast who kept the whole thing from falling apart. I'll probably never re-watch it, but Heirs was fun while it lasted.

The cast was brilliant from the first sight and that was the main reason for me to watch it. Kim WooBin, Lee MinHo, Choi JiHyuk, Kang HaNeun and idol-actors C.N Blue’s MinHyuk, ZE:A’s HyungShik and f(x) Krystal were the ones I really wanted to see and most of them did not leave me disappointed in their acting, despite the over-all disappointment about the drama.
Per example, neither WooBin nor MinHo looks 18, and that was really a ‘what on earth’ moment for me. They both look at least 20-24 years old and way out of high-teen dramas, but that could only be me.
I do want to say that I am very, very pleased with WooBin’s acting and he and his character YoungDo were the ones that actually made me watch this to the end. YoungDo was one of the two characters (other being Choi JiHyuk’s Kim Won) who had any kind of development and growth during the drama and actually evolved, while the rest stayed the same trough-out everything.
Idol-actors did an excellent job and scenes with them were amusing, interesting and sincere and I do hope they will get more acting chances in the future. They have something in them – especially HyungShik, who could really pull off some main comical characters in new high-teen dramas – and I do wish to see more of them.
Apart from the cast, which was great and did a great job, the story itself was very mediocre and highly cliché. A poor girl gets courted by two high-class hunks and she, of course, chooses only one leaving other heartbroken. Then we have the evil family, the status/money issues and mean girls getting their mean deeds done. A memory lost and an unreasonable time jump of 2-4 years was the only one’s missing to make this a true cliché masterpiece.
To add to the upper mentioned cliché, we can even see that ONE OST song, that is played SO often it drills to your brain (like “Almost Paradise” in “Boys Before Flowers”) and here it was “Love is the Moment”. The song on its own is fine and 2AM’s ChangMin’s voice is wonderful, but the song in the drama is overused.
I don’t should I add EunSang’s (played by Park ShinHye) constant crying in every.single.episode, but I sure as hell found it really annoying and as disturbing as Tan’s (Lee MinHo) extra creepy way of courting a girl.
Over all, the drama was rather dry, predictable and only the end when the actual business issues appeared was interesting. I might even say, I would not recommend this to anyone, maybe only because of WooBin, to watch his acting skills, but that’s about it.

They said it themselves. You who casts A-list K-actors and K-actresses and make a plot full of rubbish must endure the criticism. Hand grabbing, back hugs, intense stares, abusive parents, and bad acting. That is this show to the core. I'm not going to sugarcoat it.
I went into Heirs as a #1 fan of Lee Min Ho. I watched this drama and I was stunned. Stunned by gorgeous Lee Min Ho....NO. Stunned by how bad his acting was. I couldn't even look at times because I felt I had been cheated into watching Lee Min Ho look like a fool but no it was all him. The guy may look like a million bucks but he sure can't ACT. Being a actor you have to know how to act right? If anyone is saying no right now. I know just the drama for you Boys Before Flowers. Wait what is the difference between BOF and Heirs?? Nothing really.....Same plot, same lead actor....you see were I am going with this.
Park Shin Hye..............god.....her acting also...just no.....not good at all. I don't really even want to describe it....her character in this story has no sense of herself. Also she gets pushed around like a rag doll....no one can like a character like that.
Kim Woo Bin at least he can act. I'm sorry but it's true at least he can! What would we have done without him in this drama....honestly I don't know...because it seemed like he was the only one really ACTING in this drama. His character also wasn't the best but he did the best he could...considering the writer made the character a creepy, stalker, bully.
Why do we watch dramas? To see a good plot, full of well developed characters...maybe something fun. I don't watch the drama if the people CAN'T ACT. As simple as that.
Those who enjoyed this show did not enjoy the plot but the viewing of their favorite A list K-celeb.
The few things which held this show in place were disregarded throughout the series (Kim Woo Bin) which made this show even harder to watch.
The k-pop idol actors I could care less about.....
What I'm trying to say is if you want to see your favorite k-celeb look like a fool go ahead if you don't want that DO NOT WATCH THIS DRAMA.

*Actors: If you're watching it bc you like those actors that's good - everyone shows decent skill and whole cast is truly talented. It's satisfying in this matter, because some of the characters will surely stay in one's mind for awhile (for example little psycho girl, or a girl with a smiling heart, or one black knight;)).
*Music: It's good. Sometimes annoying with its timing, but good. And I noticed two new, very nice songs. Besides that I’m all for rock, so all rock-like music pieces were like honey for my ears;) Unfortunately they were noticeable only in first part of the story...
*Overall: Strong 6. This drama surely has its own atmosphere. It’s very well made and it can really hook you up for a couple of episodes. Unfortunately in the same time, it belongs to the category of shows in which 'forward button' is easily abused -> Conclusion: it could be better if it would be about 7 or 8 episodes shorter.
~Cheers!
(and I apologize for grammar mistakes;))
P.S. I really love Lim Ju Eun, who played Jun Hyun Joo. To be frank, I stared to watch this drama because of her!, so it was veeery disappointing when it turned out that she was just background character... Ah, such marvellous actress overlooked again.

Let's start off saying, this show had SOOOO much potential. It had a wide selection of talented actors and actresses as well as its fair share of enjoyable OSTs. I'm not kidding - as much as I grew to hate kimtan though I loved him at the start, Lee Minho is as talented an actor you can get. I really wanted the super-popular woobin to see what was so great bout him - and he didn't disappoint! DIdn't like his character at the start but grew to root for him and feel for him :') an cry for him too.Kang Haneul and Choi Jin Hyuk did a great job playing their roles Hyoshin and ChoiWon (love rivals too), the girl they loved, Hyunjoo did a fab job too. One of the few times I remembering tearing and crying in the show was because of them! so *applause* for them! Kang Minhyuk and Krystal did a GREAT JOB as Chanyoung X Bona, absolutely loved them , they're one of the reasons I kept watching. I loved Kimtan's and Eunsang's mums together too. THey're so adorable! ALso one of the pairs that kept me through the show. Park Hyunsik fro ZE:A proved that idols can act too! He was so cute and I loved him lots as Jo Myungsoo
