High school student Mina lost her parents 8 years ago in a hit-and-run car accident. One day, the detective in charge of the case informs her that the culprit has been caught and that he wants to meet her. When she goes to see him, the man who killed her parents turns out to be a wealthy old man facing imminent death. With selfish, religious intentions, he’s asked to see her not to offer his heartfelt apology but to force her to forgive him. Both the police and the old man’s family display hypocritical kindness and seek compromise. The film presents us with a pitiful depiction of the world’s violence directed towards the helpless girl.
