Four years after the end of the Pacific War, Khabarovsk POW camp. There, Japanese POWs were engaged in forced labor. Among them, there was a group called the Democratic Commissioner, who borrowed the power of the Soviet Union to monitor and assault fellow prisoners, and Funabashi was dressed in clothes with war criminals. On the verge of being tortured, it was Lisa, a female doctor ordered by the political department to interrogate him. Funabashi is recognized for the artist's talent and ordered to paint her portrait.
