Fri and Sats are now boring ?
FEB 19, 2021Although I wasn’t a big fan of season 1, I am so interested in the story. So I am excited for seasons 2 and 3. Since it is still on air, Ill give a update every 6 as a review so I guess Ill be here 3x.
I LOVE THE PILOT EPISODE! I am so interested on how the story will unfold. Like YoonYoon couple, Jenny’s character development and more!!

OH DAMN SEASON 2 was one of a hell of a ride. I hope OHY didn’t die cuz wtf was that. Also, I feel so bad for the real Ae Gyo. She seems like she would have been a great mother if it weren’t for Dan Tae. Also, Logan wtf why didn’t u tell OHY about her daughter being alive. Like arghh

THANK GOD OHY ADMITS TO HER CRIME AND THAT THOSE BITCHES GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED. Also wtf Jenny and Mari u bitch. I hate them, worse glow down ever. And dont tell me Logan died? Wtf
Anyway looking forward for season 3 in June. So sad that my Fri and Sats are now boring again. ?

BEST MAKJANG KDRAMA!! THAT RAISES YOUR TEMPER
I have watched the season 1, of course it was truly amazing something that raises your temper, blood pressure and headache. And with this season, it never dissapoints me for the first 2 episodes, as I was expected same feels I had for season 1. It made me think what will happen next and getting excited to look forward in spite of the effects of Joo Dan Tae and Seo Jin is getting my nerves to kill them while watching. I will really finish this Kdrama up to the last season 3. I am looking forward what will be the character of Lee Ji Ah (former Shim Su Ryeon) in this episode that will rattle the villains.Was this review helpful to you?
This drama is getting annoying
To be honest season 1 was amazing. I couldn't wait for the next episode. In the first season, the good characters were winning more, I guess that's why people, including me, liked it more.I wish Sureyon wasn't dead. With her presence the nonsense that is happening would be more bearable.
I don't want her to return as her twin sister. I want her to be back.
I don't care as much about Ro Na. And her mom. But it should have been SuRyeon the one to have her happy ending.
This drama is going downhill very fast. Such a shame

I've seen people wanting to start on the 2nd season rather than starting on the 1st. I suggest to watch the first season to understand the story of the 2nd.The second season made my blood boil, but not as much as the first. The beginning and end of the first was very tragic. I'm hoping Shim Su Ryeon would still be alive! After the first season ended, I impatiently waited for the 2nd. The first 2 episodes were so satisfying!! It was worth the wait!! I'm not fond of Oh Yoon Hee since she's a murderer, but I'm excited to see her seek revenge with Ha Yoon Chul. Every second of the first 2 episodes was amazing! Right now, I'm impatiently waiting for Friday haha. The scene where Bae Rona finally met her mom (Oh Yoon Hee) had be crying buckets. The glow up for each character is perfect. Seokkyung with short hair, Yoon Hee with longer red hair, Seo Jin with straight hair, etc. Loved how Lee Sang woo was a cameo in the beginning of the second episode! Also, the maid played her roll really good. I was actually intimated by her. I also felt bad for Jenny. Loved her character development though. Round of an applause to the actors!! They did an amazing job. Can't wait to see more of Logan Lee. Looking forward for Fridays and Saturdays now :)

THE BEST MELODRAMA LITERALLY EVER!!
I just now completed watching the first episode of this drama.....And I was like shouting and screaming at every scenes...This drama is not like the other Korean dramas it depicts about three women who are trying to survive and reach the peak of the world...
One is like the queen of a Penthouse- SHIM SU RYEON
Other is the Prime Donna of this Penthouse- CHEON SEO JIN
Other is a brave mom who is willing to give up everything for her daughter to reach the peak- OH YOON HEE
This drama mainly depicts about these 3 women and how they try to survive in THE WAR OF LIFE.....

Same sh*t, different day?
Same sh*t, different day.The drama is repetitive and boring now. The show needs to add something new. It’s all the same characters, doing the same stupid things. It was good in season 1 but now it has just lost its sparkle. Characters don’t seem to learn from their mistakes and so the story is just becoming ABSURD. Some of the characters motives are weird and questionable too. All in all, not enjoying this season at all, it’s over the top, and not in a good way...
I get it’s a drama but we’ve seen this all before in last one. boring boring boring !!! ??

En terminos de plot, siento que es mejor que la primera temporada, los personajes son más complicados, algunos mas humanos, otros siguen siendo las mismas lacras de siempe (que vivan los ricos ??).Penthouse enseña que el dinero es poder, aunque aveces es mejor usar el "poder del guión" solo para deshacerte del personajes que es como una cucaracha, por más insecticida que le heches no se muere el idiota.
Pudieron cambiar un poco más la dinámica de los buenos contra los malos, la trama llega a ser cansada cuando los protagonistas no pueden tener ni un segundo de satisfacción.
La protagonista llega a ser poco confiable, ¿perdonaste a la persona que estando ebria mató tu hija y cuando pensaste que podrías manipularla, esa persona te traicionó conspirando con tu marido corrupto para deshacerse de ti? agarra el rollo, Sim Sooryeon.

Mejor que la primera temporada, pero…
[Escrito el 16 de mayo del 2024]En comparación de la primera temporada esta nueva entrega es más cautivadora de cierta manera, sin embargo, la cantidad de plot twists hizo que comenzara a ser predecible.
En cuanto a actuación, nada que decir, creo que es uno de los puntos fuertes de este drama.
Es el primer drama que veo con más de dos temporadas y la verdad es que simplemente quiero ver como logran darle un cierre coherente a la enredada trama que crearon.
