If someone asked me what is the best part…

If someone asked me what is the best part of IPYTM then they'd probably expect confusion but i have my answer ready: REAL CHARACTERS.IPYTM will convince you that the people they show are real. They are friends, partners, exes, sons/daughters—real people with aspirations and dreams and responsibilities. Even the side characters have a story to tell. Like Top who despite reaching his goal suspects that he isn't truly good enough. Khim, who isn't ready to forsake her dream yet but her duties compel her to. Teh, who is afraid of being alone. Oh Aew who gets judged for being who he is.We get to see a lot of romantic gestures from both Teh and Oh Aew. In the first scene we see Teh with the milk bottle in his hand. Even though its been a year, Oh Aew still heats up milk for him. He gets a small tattoo too. Teh may be more subtle but his emotions are there. I was particularly touched in the scene where Oh Aew was drunk and Teh, instead of taking the bed, sleeps on the carpet beside the couch.The story is told through time skips but without any holes and the audience gets a good idea of how the relationships have progressed. All in all a 9/10 episode. It's an emotional rollercoaster, the ending scene of episode 2 was something which would probably be the ending scene of any other standard drama. This is how IPYTM stands apart. (I'm losing kots of sleep wondering how episode 3 will turn out).

Don't say goodbye!

Fear is the horrible truth that one can’t or will not admit. In one point in our life’s, we will have to face change, either in a relationship, friends, or even with family members. Change is what we fear. Change of what we know and learn to understand can feed our fears. I loved the episode! So much change on all characters. Facing fear head on is not easy and sometimes we need to have plan B in order to succeed and find plan A. We find Oh-aew looking for himself in the 1st episode. He faced loneliness but kept going; not only for him, but for Teh aswell. He realized that acting is not for him and decided to face his fear or rejection, but no the rejection of casting or his friends, the rejection of his loved one, Teh. With determination on his eyes, he confessed to Teh that he is changing major. You can see the disappointment of Teh but he swallows his anger and tries to be supportive. To make things worse, Kim decided to change careers as well since she is struggling financially. By then, Teh couldn’t handle that deep anger anymore and explodes on Kim, but his true anger is because he is afraid. Fear of change and uncertainty. Fear that everyone is leaving him and he is going to be all alone. Incredible episode. The topic, the angels, the acting, but most of all, the real topics that this drama brings is just lovely.

Essa serie realmente não é brincadeira, parece ser tão simples mas é tão complexa e tão COMPLETA. Oh realmente é um personagem sem personalidade, sem originalidade, e que reflete varias pessoas no mundo real, uma personalidade tão pobre que pode mudar só pelas companhias. Admiro muito o amadurecimento e a responsabilidade que o Teh tem demonstrado, a historia realmente está indo pra alguns pontos mornos porém sem abaixar o nível da serie e isso é muito bom. Como eles conseguem atuar tão bem? como é que uma ost simples e momentos tão simples conseguem fazer com que você saia do seu próprio mundo e se sinta tão bem no mundo deles?

Too Many Time Jumps

I legit LOOOVED this episode. I could relate to both Teh and Oh-aew. Teh wants everything to be good and jolly and perfect and gets scared and runs his mouth when they don't. Oh-aew does what he feels is right in his heart. Both of these traits were present in season 1, and I loooove the fact that they're not changing that.The moments portrayed in this episode: when Oh-aew realized that he didn't want to be an actor anymore, Teh not expressing his true feelings in the beginning and running his mouth, disappointment, and acceptance. I did like it when Teh asked Oh-aew if he was OK when Oh-aew told him that the director wanted him to be more manly. These are issues that can literally fuck with your brain sometimes.The thing that I didn't like was the time jumps.At the beginning of the episode, I believe they're in SOPHMORE Year? ( correct me if I'm wrong), it was 3 months later, when Oh-aew told Teh that he was gonna transfer, then 8 months after that, when they had the dinner fight, then 1 week after that, the graduation ceremony.Now, Teh kept it to himself the fact that he wasn't OK with Oh-aew's decision for 8 WHOLE MONTHS?!?! Come on, this not OK. And after the fight, they didn't talk about it for A WHOLE WEEK?!?!?! Really? Why this time jump? are we gonna see Junior, and Senior Year? SO FAST? Like what is going on?But nonetheless, Very very beautiful and emotional, and the ending. Oh-aew, let your stubborn man know that he can't get rid of you so easily, and you ain't going nowhere ?HAPPY PRIDE ?️‍?

Sonhos que podem se tornar realidade

Vamos começar a resenha falando sobre como eu amo a complexidade dos personagens de ITSAY=IPYTM! Eu me identifico muito com o Teh por ele ser um personagem real e não ter medo de demonstrar o que está sentindo no momento, assim agindo sem pensar. Isso é exatamente o que acontece na vida real por isso adoro quando mostram personagens assim.♡- Uma coisa que fica bem mais clara aqui é a diferença de maturidade e pensamento dos nosso núcleos principais. De um lado temos o Aew com um grupo mais jovem que geralmente age sem pensar e quer se divertir. Do outro lado temos o Teh com o seu grupo de amigos que podemos ver através dos comportamentos que são muito mais maduros e agem de forma diferente. Sempre que aparecem juntos eles falam sobre coisas mais sérias e estão em ambientes que condizem com isso. Acredito que essa certa diferença de maturidade seja uma coisa que eles quiseram nos demonstrar nesse episódio, assim associamos o comportamento do grupo de amigos com os protagonistas. ♡- “Chorar não significar desistir” Essa frase entra no tópico que foi muito trabalhado nesse episódio. O conflito interno de cada pessoa sobre seguir seu sonho e perceber o que realmente te faz bem. Mais uma vez eu entendo totalmente o Teh! Na primeira parte o grande conflito é o Aew tbm querer estudar teatro e depois deles superarem isso, os dois começam a planejar uma vida juntos baseado nisso. O Teh por sempre ser mais racional e necessitar de planos ou coisas parecidas, começa a ter um sentimento de confusão quando o Aew fala que vai mudar de curso, é como se tudo que ele tivesse planejado fosse mudar assim como a relação deles que criou uma forte base nesse “sonho" que os dois compartilhavam. Ainda nesse tópico, quando o Teh descobre que a sua maior inspiração para seguir seus sonhos vai acabar “desistindo" dele, os sentimentos são ainda mais confusos, se todas as pessoas que ele pensava que fossem ficar do seu lado batalhando pelo mesmo sonho, como ele vai fazer as coisas sozinho agora? Será que ele também deve desistir? Eu acredito que ele tenha se feito perguntas assim quando essas cenas aconteceram.♡- Agora sobre a perspectiva do Aew de toda essa situação, eu não deixo de entendê-lo. Ele sempre foi taxado como uma pessoa que desiste fácil, que não tem objetivos claros e que é muito fácil de ser influenciado. Isso tudo acaba abalando o emocional dele, quando ele descobre que ser ator não é o seu sonho ele fica confuso sobre como contar para o Teh sem parecer que ele está desistindo. Ele se sente em algum momento impossibilitado de mudar o seu “sonho" por medo de se encaixar no padrão que ele era rotulado antigamente. Então nesse episódio quando o Teh fala no restaurante que era óbvio que ele ia desistir e que já era logo de se esperar da parte dele porque ele é assim desde criança, machucou ainda mais o Aew como se aquele rotulo que ele tinha antes dessa vez seja realmente a verdade. Na descoberta dele sobre não gostar de atuar vemos umas pessoas criticando a atuação dele e uma dessas críticas que ele gostaria de ressaltar foi quando disseram que ele parecia muito feminino e deveria ser um menino tentando dar em cima de uma menina. Naquele hora eu consegui sentir o peso dessas palavras, mesmo que elas façam sentido para aquela ocasião que era um teste, eu senti o desconforto do Aew. Era como se alguém quisesse apagar ele, apagar o que ele é, e pedir para se transformar em outra pessoa. E isso é super importante quando se vai atuar, por isso sinto que o Aew teve mais certeza de que não poderia se deixar apagar mesmo que seja em um teste de elenco. Ou seja, ele não consegue apagar o seu jeito e não se sente confortável fazendo isso por mais que se esforce.♡- Esse final me diz que vem coisa triste por aí, eles fizeram uma promessa de que vão se amar e apoiar. Até aí tudo bem, meu problema foi na hora que eles afastaram a câmera e nos mostraram a lua. Literalmente o nome do BL, I PROMISED YOU TO THE MOON = UMA PROMESSA IMPOSSÍVEL DE CUMPRIR . O que eles quiseram dizer com essa cena? Pelo visto agora é só aguardar por mais tristezas. Esse episódio foi super carregado de energia emocional, como cada episódio vai representar um ano na vida deles de universidade deles estou curiosa para ver como vão fazer mais uma passagem de tempo.
