Young Kingpai is fascinated by the house next to hers because it looks like a haunted house and she loves good novels and ghost stories : she dreams to be an author. Someday, the house welcomes new neighbours : handsome Seksalan and his psychotic, crazy, jealous wife. Eventually, his wife, who desperately wants to keep him for her and make sure he belongs to no one else, disfigures him and commits suicide right after. Seksalan's life turns into a nightmare as not only he's scarred but rumor spreads that he actually killed his wife ; what's worse, his father-in-law believes that rumor (he always refused to see how awful his daughter was) and vows to destroy Seksalan (moreover, his other daughter, Rasamee, also loves Seksalan, which makes him even angrier). Seksalan returns to his house after a few years and sees Kingpai again. Kingpai is as sweet and sassy as when they first met ; she's still fascinated by that house, even more now that the rumour has it that Seksalan's dead wife haunts it. Eventually, Seksalan and Kingpai slowly get closer and she even writes a web novel under the pen name "Dokfah" that is inspired from his story and reveals to everyone he's an innocent man.
