In the autumn of 1947, villagers in Qing Shi County, at the bank of the Little River, Shanbei Province, dodge the invasion of Hu Zongnan’s troop, leaving the obstinate grandpa’s family. A branch radio team is stationed in grandpa’s yard and sets up the antenna for the Captain to direct the communication soldiers in order to search for the Central Communist Party.
