short but pack
Upon all the Revolution era drama that I've watch, this drama is the shortest. Watch this for our main lead, Zhang Jing Yi & Niu Jun Feng. Because it's short duration I've not much expectation for this drama. Although this is short duration this drama has beginning, middle & ending quite clear.The (+) for the short ep drama is they don't prolong the story until unbearable. The (-) the pace is jumping from time to time, usually between 4 years duration each group of time, that make this lack in some aspect.
This is the story of Ding Yi Qing (YQ) & Lin Mo Sheng (MS), from the moment they know each other until the very end. Is this about revolution...? No, not really. Yeah they crossed path but it's not really about Revolution or spy story. In the synopsis that MDL give us, "On this road, she (YQ) finally took over the baton from Miss D, vowing to bring prosperity to the younger generation..." quite unfit actually, the reason YQ took the baton a little bit shallow & very unconvincing & nothing about vowing to bring prosperity to the younger generation at all if I can say....
The chemistry between Zhang Jing Yi & Niu Jun Feng quite ok. I still love the chemistry between Zhang Jing Yi & Chen Xing Xu in fall in love. The romance between YQ & MS itself quite bitter sweet. Yeah romance at this era usually quite bitter because of the time & situation at that time...
Overall this just another drama to spend ur time with. If you look for broad outline of what happen at that era, this short drama can give you a little bit picture of that time... But if you look for the best, of course not this one...
