mini drama thats a cute love story but... the leads are like playing phone tag!!
This is a mini drama, about 9 mins for each ep with a total of 15 episode!Didn't really have any expectation coming in. This drama was very cute and sweet but at the same time the leads kept playing phone tag lol missing each other. Why cant you just tell him or her that you like them?
The story definitely had many cute and sweet moments, but the storyline was not developed well. Up until the last episode is when the male lead finally ask female lead to be his girlfriend. Ummm... a little slow. They had too many misunderstanding between each other. The male lead had a crush on the female lead from high school , and vice versa with female lead. Female lead is not very confident about herself. She is cute, naive, dumb and has many scenes where she is talking to herself. ( its actually quite cute,) She has dialogue with her inner self. She tries to pursue the male lead, but the male lead is something hot and sometimes cold to her. Thus making her confuse if the male lead likes her or not. The male lead likes her but doesnt say it to her, he does other things but the female lead doesnt quite get it... This is the phone tag part... argh kinda frustrating at points because they would have a cute moment, then have a cold moment and put that on repeat lol
I like the pairing! The female lead does a good job to portray her innocent and naive/dumb character. I felt my tingle in my heart when the male lead gets jealous. They make a cute couple, with believable chemistry! not too many kisses, i think it was 2 ?
I probably wouldnt want to watch the draggy plot if this were a regular 45mins drama, but as a mini drama i can accept it! its not bad!

the name of the drama should be “beating around the bush”
Its just about two people beating around the bush and never confessing , for 15 episodes its just goes round and round . Both fl and ml just would not stop assumingIf u are just bored as hell and life is just not entertaining for ya anymore i do suggest u to watch this, it kinda makes I realise maybe ur not the most stupid person u know. Its very short so its rlly not a waste of time I finished it in less than an hour, not gonna lie the lead’s visuals are actually pretty decent but non f them would ever confess to each others like for god sake even an ant would he able to tell they like each others but they still wouldnt get to the point and just keeps beating around the bush . Like seriously and one word to describe the guy “COWARD “ and one word for the girl is “ DESPERATE “ but both have one similarity aka one thing in common which is they will not tell each others they like them like i only watched it as i look forward to nothing in my shitty life and its just so entertaining to watch two stupid people figure their way out of a tunnel that has doors and windows that are wide open but for some reasons their so dumb they just cant figure a way out . basically quite pathetic but entertaining

"The Most Beautiful Thigs Is Not The Rainy Day; But The Shelter We Took From The Rain."
First, it was not until I started typing up this review that I realized that everyone used their own real names in this movie! Even Guo Hao Yu changed is name back to his own name.
This series is mainly for a pre-teen and teenage viewing audience, but it is still a good break between action, horror, and period dramas. Also, there is absolutely no adult "action" whatsoever in this movies, so don't expect it! The main female lead os so cute and well worth the time just watching her suffer from her own self-talk! (Just kidding!).
If you liked Ditto (2000), Drama Special Season 5: The Three Female Runaways (2014), Jenny & Juno (2005), Who Slept with Her (2006), or Su-ki-da (Japan, 2005) then you would probably like this one as well!
This drama reminds me of Su-ki-da (2005), a Japanese movie where the two main cast members only declare their love for one another at the last scene of the movie in the hospital, I also wondered if the main male lead would actually "live" until it happened! https://mydramalist.com/2536-su-ki-da
Guo Hao Yu, now Guo Jia Nan (Guo Jia Nan), a high school basketball player who is also as good in the classroom as he is on the basketball court is the secret crush of one Zhang Mu Xi (played by Zhang Mu Xi), a shy slightly introverted female who talks to herself (more on this later) and who also keeps telling herself that she isn't 'pretty' enough for her high school, then college, crush/heart-throb Guo Jia Nan.
On top of that, Mu Xi keeps tripping over herself, literally, every time she gets within a mile of him!
Also, since every movie with a "girl likes boy but doesn't think she is good enough for him" plot, there has to be a second female lead for Mu XI to beat herself up over occasionally: enter, who else, but Mu Xi roommate, Liu Yuan Yuan (played by some actress by the name of 'Liu Yuan Yuan'): Yuan Yuan is taller, better-looking as far as Mu Xi is concerned, and is one of the most popular girls on campus, and more horrible, had Guo Jia Nan's phone number before he did!
Last but not least, our possible femme fatale is being pursued by another young man, Yu Xuan Chen (played by some guy by the name of Yu Xuan Chen!).
Following for most of the rest of the movie are feelings of euphoria by Mu Xi while she is within breathing distance of Guo Jia Nan, followed by feelings of depression if for some reason or the other Guo Jia Nan tells her he is busy, he doesn't answer his phone, etc. He finally asks her ot to eat, but again, she blows it there as well!
I kept yelling at Jia Nan, "For Christ's sake, TELL HER you like her and you enjoy being with her!' But for some reason or the other, Jia Nan either didn't hear me, or ignored me.
This movie reminds me of "If I Can Love You So (2019)" a great drama where world-renowned pianist Geng Mochi, and popular radio host, Bai Kao’er, keep messing up being together or getting married because little misunderstandings keep cropping up between them: same with Mu XI and Guo Jia Nan, but the movies would have ended after the first 10-minute episode had they not!
After going back and forth between euphoria and depression, Mu xi becomes a basket case who does nothing but go to class, eat some and cry her heart out!
Thanks to Mu Xi's roommate and rival to her, Yuan Yuan finally tells Jia Nan to either drop her altogether or ask her to be his steady girlfriend. However, Jia Nana also messes this up as well, due to Mu xi's misunderstanding!
While this couple's lives are going nowhere, Yuan Yuan has her own problems with her ever-present worshipper, Xuan Chen.
However, things take a surprising turn there when Yaun Yuan finds out that she is not the one on Jia Nan's mind all the time!
I really love the endings for both couples, but one of the girls is not the only one daydreaming about the perfect partner, even since high school!
Episodes of this series are only 10 minutes long and a combined episode's movie is available on YouTube. Eng sub et al, are available as well there.
Everything was great about this movie, but it was a little 'corny', if you know what I mean. It would be great for boys or girl s who is scared of telling that 'special one' how they really feel.
Music, cinematography, was great. Main cast actually made the audience feel as if they had a romantic connection, and they both played the role of hormone-ravaged kids trying to figure out exactly how to get with the one they wanted to date without falling on your face every step! Guo Jia Nan acted as if Mu XI was growing on him, and he smiled more during the last part of the movie more.
The supporting cast also played their parts well, and gave the main cast what they needed to keep focused on the main plot of the movie.
I liked it when Jia Nan and Xuan Chen were alone and talking about telling a girl how they felt; neither up until then were able to do it!
I loved the way that they showed Mu XI (literally) talking to herself when it was needed in the movie; as most love-lorn girls, she was her worst enemy when it came to giving herself pep talks! Guo Jia Nan also was great at playing a young man who wasn't exactly sure how to deal with the girl he wanted to be his main squeeze; and he played his part very well.
I liked the way Yuan Yuan played the second girl, and finally came around to realizing what was important in her own relationship with another.
I also liked how Xuan Chen got Mu Xi to try to get Yuan Yuan jealous, and how the reaction of Yuan Yuan and Jia Nan after their attempts!.The interplay between the 'non-couples was exceeding well done!
I especially like how the two couples "summarized' the lessons they learned over the time period of the movie at its end.
I also liked how Jia Nan "gave of himself" and occasionally changed his plans to make Mu XI feel good about herself and be with her; this is what true love is - part of YOU dying for the one you want to be with!
This is a less-than half a box of Kleenex movie but it is still great to watch occasionally.
If you want more of this type entertainment, please try 'All I Want for Love is You'. One reviewer said that this short drama was nothing more than a 'shortened' version of 'All I Want for Love is You'.
RE-WATCH VALUE: Occasionally, yes.

Light, average drama.
STORY---------------------------------------Of course, given that this is a short 15 episode, 10 minutes each episode drama, you can't quite expect a plot besides a relationship developing. Most other characters just had to be thrown into the plot after a quick introduction. But even with such a short drama, I believe it could have been a little more interesting. I saw other reviews, emphasizing that this drama is like "beating around the bush". I couldn't agree more. It was frustrating that the male lead didn't tell the female lead that he liked her. This lasted quite a long time, which makes me believe there was room for more plot. I did sort of like the "love rival aka best friend" idea, but since this is a short story I don't think this drama would be the right place for that kind of situation.
ACTING/CAST-----------------------------
The acting and the cast were both great, nothing over the top. I want to point out that the female lead definitely becomes dumb when around her crush (male lead). It's cute, and funny, but sometimes she was way too imaginative, and I got second-hand embarrassment watching her sometimes. Male lead was good, but he hid his feelings a little too far for too long. But overall, their personalities and acting match very well.
MUSIC-----------------------------------------
I just put 8.0 for this one, because there was only one song in the whole drama. But it was a pretty good song.
REWATCH VALUE---------------------------
I think the only reason why I would rewatch this is because it is very short, and you can finish it in a span of one day. But I wouldn't be here for the story. It sort of depends on your view after the drama, and what kind of drama you feel like watching at the moment.
OVERALL----------------------------------------
Very average drama, and very hard to tell whether this is a good or bad drama since it's extremely in between. I guess watch it if you want because it's really short, but I wouldn't 100% recommend it. If I had to give a more precise rating, it would be 7.7, just like it is right now.

Nice and light story
I watched the full version on youku with Indonesia subtitle.I like it because it's typical sweet and not too complicated love story. How we like someone but don't have courage to confess. How we tried our best to be together with her / him. One part that I like the most is when Muxi's doppelganger come out and she has inner conversation or when she daydreams. It's so cute and funny! Also I love how they still friend even tough they were love rival previously.
This story give me a valuable lesson. You have to say it so they don't take it the wrong way, at it's in everything, not only love.

Stupid love story, but quite cute & adorable
I actually don't know what to say about this. But for sure thank God this is just short drama not a long one.Story about one stupid boy that falling in love with a girl but don't want to say his feeling & only troll the girl feeling. And at the brick that girl almost give up her feeling, that boy finally admit that he like her too. Yeah one stupid love story that we romanticizes. But funnily, even for me, no matter stupid this story is, we still like it & cheer for that relationship to finally blossom.
Overall thank God this is just short drama not a long one if not I don't know how will they stretch this...

Okay this drama after i watched i felt like its like a girl's fantasyLike a wattpad story during the start. We have this perfect all perfect guy with good grades, good looks, good at sports good at everything like the ml from love020 who is adored by all the girls in the world a perfect kinda guy, who the girl has crush on from high school days. The girl is described as someone with average looks( though she looks pretty) and someone who is not good at studies etc..
I mean they meet only once during high school but yeah.. she wants to meet him again as they met only one time in highschool.. and boom!! It turns out that he also has had a crush on her from highschool and when they meet again in the college after meeting he asks her out for dinner together.. so all this basically happens in first episode.. by the first ep u can guess they are both into each other and they both LIKE each other. But guess what they take the last ep to find out that they like each other.. And they imagine that the other person likes someone else:(
Theres a scene where they had to act in a play and the ml and fl act in the play for a while until sfl enters. That time they decide that the sfl suit the ml more and they decide to shoot everything with sfl instead of the fl. At this point the ml actually announces in front of everyone that he wont act in the play( as its with the sfl. )So they ask him again to work with fl to which he is okay ..( thats y i had said this drama is like a girl's fantasy)
And u know what happens after that?
fl thinks the ml likes only sfl.. its frustrating
They are always back to square one basically the fl, she keeps questioning if the ml liked her or not.. i mean y cant u open ur eyes and see?? I mean its full of eye roll, few cringes( few??) , all cliches but its not bad either. An average tbh if u have nothing else to watch and bored af with life and dont know what to do with life or to kill time u can watch this drama..
Phew tbh i lost some brain cells after i watched this but both ml and fl are eye candy and kinda have chemistry.. soo... I totally recommend this drama if u have nothing else to see and if u r tired just a kill time

typical highschool love story
This is a mini-drama with more than 2hrs that covers all the episode already, so I've been very excited to binge-watch it because Chinese dramas often tend to exceed 24 eps., but I didn't expect that the plot will be like that. I guess it's the "typical" high school drama when one simps the other and the other one doesn't or just in denial or just not expressing it and there's nothing special with the plot I guess. Also the male lead can be somewhat confusing because one second he cares for the female lead, but after a while he pretends he isn't and the cycle continues. That's why somehow the audience can already predict what might the ending will be because of the storyline because there isn't something special at all. Also, I was just unsatisfied with the second leads ending because I felt like it should have been better rather than just like that. If given a chance, I prolly won't re-watch it again because as mentioned, the storyline is really predictable and I guess we all got enough of it, but the actors were good and you can feel some chemistry it's just that the plot could have been better and I hope they'll be having another project together again. OST wise, it's good and even if I can't understand Mandarin/Chinese, I can vibe on its beat. Was this review helpful to you?
