Shirasaki Yuki, a rookie actor, finally lands an audition and is chosen to star in a BL drama alongside current superstar Hayama Asami, who was also his senior at university. Feeling anxious and troubled before his first major role, Shirasaki is approached by Hayama with the proposal to form a “romantic relationship for the sake of character development” until the filming concludes. Their pseudo-romantic involvement off-screen leads to a moving and beautifully crafted love story exploring the intricacies of relationships within the entertainment industry and among actors.

If you enjoy watching Yutaka's expressive face- which is to say Inukai Atsuhiro's wonderful acting - the Zettai BL specials are all must-watch! His beautiful face transforms to reflect all the different aspects of obliviousness, confusion and ultimately acceptance. The tone of the two series are very different but both have a warm, gentle center and make you fall in love with Inukai.

Both are funny short length dramas in which the ML is a self-aware manga character. The ML of POB is corny whereas the ML of ZBNNSVZBLNNO is constantly trying to get out of corny tropes.

These are both gentle satire - but completely hilarious - series on the BL genre. There is a lot of observational internal-dialog which drives a less-subtle humor so they are easy to watch mindlessly. Also, the eye candy is delicious!

The over the top reactions and the main character narrated introspection are as hiarious as the ones seen in Ossan's Love trilogy

Same crazy/cute atmosphere with a bit of gay panic, same self awareness and humour and a 80's vibe for the catchy opening song. I'm sure some of the team worked on both dramas or they are copycats, and I mean it as a compliment.

In both, the boys are in college who's NEVER been in a relationship who's afraid of being or becoming gay after dreaming about it in the future. In addition, they start seeing gay couples all around them.
