I'm so confused by the hate of this. I think a lot of it was to mislead us. We are getting a tiny glimpse of their separation.. more can be at play. The baby is HIGHLY unlikely to be Shi De... he wasn't in America long enough to knock someone up. I think the most logical theory is that the girl is his step sister (he did go to America for his mother's wedding) and the baby can be either her's (with another man) or even Shi De's half brother. Shi De probably decided to stay in America to help his family... those medical bills could be for his step father (basing it off the name on it.. makes most sense to me).I think this special episode was just to MAKE us speculate and going crazy with theories until March 5th. I think the major anger is going to be that Shi De stayed in America for 2 years instead of the promised 2 months... Shu Yi was pretty upset at the thought of a long distance relationship in the last episode so maybe him jumping to conclusions and then finding out Shi De wasn't coming back created more of a problem.
The screenwriter wrote the majority of the HIStory series, so I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt.. that series is amazing.

This is a mess and most likely a disappointment to many. Nothing was shown or explained clearly. It's only a "spinoff", 10 minutes long, that felt more like some kind of longer music video. I still hope s2 will answer all our questions. That said, this spinoff was beautifully filmed. The backgrounds, the colors, the places, the music were great. The acting was perfect too. Especially when there wasn't much story they had to act out. They just put some scenes together in such a random way that's hard to even form an opinion about the whole thing. Shu Yi's behavior felt out of character, which I'm not a fan of. But we don't know the whole background, so hopefully at the end of s2 all those puzzle pieces will come together and make sense.
EDIT: those puzzle pieces made not much sense. Very lazy writing.

It's like a teaser for the second season
I don’t fully understand what exactly is going on in Gao She De’s life in America, but it seems like he has his hands full. I feel like we get a lot of different hints as to what might be going on for him to stay there for much longer than planned. But we don’t get any definite answers. It’s almost like a teaser for the second season of the series with a few glances into the lives of Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De during their separation. I am a bit disappointed by the fact that a simple misunderstanding and lack of communication seem to be the main conflict both for the special and as a set up for season 2.It's very confusing though and not a lot of it makes sense. It was definitely not was I expected from the special episode. What happened to special episodes being sweet? And cute?

Short and messes with your head
This special completely messes with ones head, I am very happy that the next season is out or I would probably have strangled someone for what these 10 minutes did with this show, yet I still rated it the same as the previous, why you ask? well because I felt like it and because it really did make me want to see the next season ASAP. So definitely worth watching seeing that season 1 was sweet and left me wanting more, this little teaser managed to upset me and want it fixed... So I guess if you liked season one you will want to watch this too.Was this review helpful to you?
10 minutes of misunderstanding to create the drama for Season 2
This special episode follow the season 1 of "We Best Love: No. 1 For You" and is clearly there to create the dramatic arc in the relationship of the couple and to make the bridge with the season 2 of the series. The conflict is all based on misunderstanding and communication issues, which could be frustrating for some viewers. I was not too upset by that because I'm in a hurry to watch season 2 and curious to see the resolution. The actors do what they can with the script they are given. It is clearly not an easy job to sell this huge shift in the dynamic of the relationship in the short span of 10 minutes.
I would recommend this to people that have seen the season 1 of course, before watching season 2. If you have watched the Special version of Season 1, it seems it is not necessary to watch this SP.

Great chemistry, odd pace
Review is for WBL Special Edition: I wish so much that this drama was longer because the pace was way too fast and all I kept thinking was that I loved the chemistry and I loved the main leads together and wanted the development of enemies-to-lovers to be more slow. I probably could've done without the side characters getting so much screentime, and even more without the string of misunderstandings at the end (even though I know the drama is setting up a season 2). The chemistry is great, the OST is catchy, the acting is pretty good, and the dialogue is beautiful — sometimes it's just a little confusing how the characters got to where they were because we didn't have time to show the "in-between" moments. Was this review helpful to you?

upcoming plot
Although in this episode they don’t have a happy ending, it’s leading to the plot for season 2 to bring tension between them. So watching this episode would give you background info into season 2 but it wouldn’t necessarily be a need to watch this episode because it would most likely give background in the beginning on season 2.Although in this episode they don’t have a happy ending, it’s leading to the plot for season 2 to bring tension between them. Spin off court et ambigu
