Harvey Napoleon is a chef who is inspired by Conchita Valencia, the "Mother of Philippine Cuisine." Known for his Philippine adobo, for which he claimed is better than Conchita. When a renowned food critic visits his restaurant and gives it a one-star rating, he and his restaurant quickly loses patrons. While running away after not paying his bill on a bar, he finds himself at the Philippine Food Museum. He encounters a magical being who gives him an access to travel in time. He time travels to the Spanish-era Philippines, where he meets the young Conchita and manages to grab a page of her adobo recipe. This will lead to a modified present where Conchita Valencia is not known. Knowing that there is no other way to restore the past, he vows to recreate the lost recipe. Edit Translation

The Best Filipino TV Series
By far, this is the best Filipino TV series I have ever watched. It has the K-drama feels, yet not losing a touch of Filipino culture (cuisine and storylines) in the overall story. You will be treated with the best cinematography and excellent OST as you watch every single episode of the series. The storyline is quite unpredictable, which makes every episode more interesting to see.Acting wise, the portrayal of the lead characters were superb. In some emotionally intense scenes, you would imagine yourself wanting to hug or assure the character/s that everything will be okay, or you're doing a great job. It is like you are actually in the scene witnessing the joy or struggle of the character. And I have not felt that way for a long time while watching a Filipino TV series (mostly with K-dramas, I did).
If you are someone who enjoys the art of culinary, a sucker for romantic excitement, and really enjoys excellent cinematography, as well as well great OSTs, go check out this series!
