This film is a boon
The film is light and entertaining. It helps you explore the various themes with consideration.All things that I am sure others have also written in their reviews and which I will not repeat here. However, I would like to dwell on Hye Mi and her date gone wrong.
A lot of men on dating apps portray themselves as a dominant, when they don't understand what that means. What it usually means is that they want to do you like they don't care about you and they probably want to hurt you, because they are working out some repressed rage. But being a Dom is mostly about leadership, guidance and LEARNING... helping someone to get to where they want to go whether it's physical or mental.
And so the type of people that you see out on the dating apps or an FL that claim to be a Dom but are inexperienced at it, it's generally easy to identify them very early on. Are some better than others at hiding? Sure but this is why we vet.

that's crazy
they cookedwatching this with my bf made me think abt some things! like... why is the hotel dog scene there. why does this man... do the things he does.. i fw the girl though. but.. bro.. in the park? in the restaurant? i get the comedy of it though i.. could not stop laughing.. anyway quite amusing yes

Saucy love
I've read that Korean dramas can be clean cut and conservative, while the movies can be a bit edgier. This was definitely edgy!It was also so refreshing to watch as it dealt with BDSM in a very adult way. I didn't feel like it was approached in a sniggering or childish way. People like different things and the movie explored that.
It explored the consequences of someone trying to be authentic with others. Until we share ourselves with others, we will never know how accepting the other person will be or how supportive. There were some sad moments and some funny moments. There were also some interesting moments - going to the shop and looking at what's offered was eye opening as was what the FL did for the ML. Who knew that the quality of the rope matters?
What I liked: the personality of the ML was so well acted. He was vulnerable but determined in what he wanted.
What I didn't like: the ending was a bit abrupt and a little silly, but also predictable.
It's made me look at all my co-workers in a new way....

Muito divertido
Eu esperava uma coisa mais explícita, confesso. Mas isso não fez o filme perder seu valor. Gostei muito de como retratou tudo com muito cuidado, e como não ficou focado apenas no explícito, gostei da química dos protagonistas, da atuação deles, da fotografia do filme e até saí obcecada pelo ator principal hahah. É um filme divertido, e que pode fazer vc sentir vergonha em algumas cenas, mas vale a pena assistir. Talvez você queira até reassistir várias vezes ((((((como eu fiz. WAAAAAAA
So basicaly i don't know how and why but i loved this movie. I got into it faster than i though and i was excited whule watching this movie. The romance here was amazing, when it comes to the comedy it was awesome. I loved how it ended and how they explained everything in the end (all those mysteries). And since i like hot or spicy scenes it made me even happier. But why i gave the rewatch value only 9.5, that is because i don't think that it had to be 2 hours long to feel completed. But aside from that i watched this movie because of the gender and synopsis and like days after deciting what to watch i found out about the ML actor who i knew from Class of Lies. Watched this early as heck in the morning and I loved that I did!!
This movie is wild and funny. I don't know how the actors did it but they did amazing with trying to portray the outlook of how BDSM actually is . BDSM is usually frowned upon by people who don't even know what the concept of it is. leading to some people who are into that kind of thing to not act on it, or tell people that they enjoythis type of thing , as they're afraid to be subject to people's prejudice. But when my man started barking I lost it🤣I don't know how he did it but damn it must have been such an experience for both actors playing roles they've never done before.Was this review helpful to you?
Feel too short
I read Webtoon story, ITS very interesting. Writer give much interesting detail in love story' between Ji-hoo and jiwoo, but unfortunately we can see it in this movie. Like Ji-hoo cry every jiwoo have put big effort to learn bdsm, he feels soo happy that there is someone who understand about him. In Webtoon series actually jiwoo has like him before they know each other, but it turn different story' in movie huhu 🥲Please please give us all Webtoon story pleaseeeee

SCENES = PICASSO
I would definetly rewatch. I'm not sure if i'll ever be tired of this. I think the actors were amazing, props to them. The scene were great too, more acurate depiction than most bdsm i've seen (Fifty Shades take notes). I wish it left a bigger imprint though in my brain, i feel like i've just finish watching a feel good movie. My rating is 7-8, i loved it but felt like it miss something. My biggest issue with this movie right now, is finding one to top it... If you are looking for my opinion...definetly give it a watch or two.My review needs to be atleast 500 charachers but I'm not really in the whole talking alot. I just really wanted to support so they make more like these...so ignore my spam below and just watch the darn movie.

Rewatching for the fourth time today
while reading the reviews, it is obvious the difference in culture and acceptance of these sorts of things. if you read what it was about, I don't know why you bothered to watch it in the first place. this is my fourth time watching this film. I love it so much and every time I get the same thrills and squeals at the beautiful quirky dynamic between them. So many men suffer from depression and feelings of worthlessness because of the types of things that they desire and they cannot tell their partners about it for fear of rejection and humiliation. Unfortunately, they can sometimes step outside of their marriage and relationship in search of this acceptance. Some are lucky and find a woman who will accept them as they are. Our sexuality is only a small part of our lives, but if we don't get to be who we are, it can become something we fixate on. I feel like the actors portrayed the awkward and clumsy first stages of relationship in such a cute way. I even like the the supporting actors. The Dog Cafe is such a great and adorable place. What a shame we don't have more cat and dog cafes in the States.Was this review helpful to you?
A FUNNY REALISTIC MOVIE ABOUT THE PREFERENCES OF OTHERS & LOVEEE
So, I've actually had this movie on my watchlist for a while since my friend recommended it, but I just got around to watching it. It was interesting from the start, and I really liked the main male lead because I've watched his dramas before. I loved scenes where the characters got to be open and honest about their sexual preferences since of course that is a main theme in thus movie. it was a great watch and the various themes displayed were well portrayed by the actors such as trust, respect, love etc. I think we all love happy endings not just me, right? of course this doesn't end on a bad/sad not. It was fun and entertaining to watch guys so give it a try. Rewatch value is a 10!!! Loved it!!xo

something unexpected from koreans, but well executed
When i first saw its trailer, i was like strucked by the topic they took and considering it was just a 2 hour film, they nailed many things. Character development is op and acting was awesome too, sometimes the expressions felt a bit pale but its ignorable. The story was surprisingly good and just dont ask about the main fl and ml, both were just totally invested into their roles. Other than that if you want to watch something interesting and are not disturbed/hate the topic then you will totally like it (Note: Not a family movie.)Was this review helpful to you?
The 2 leads I haven't seen in anything else but they were both good here. I liked the FLs character. Very fresh and I like how she knew what she wanted and who she was. I loved her interactions with her mother and with the bar owner played brilliantly by Lee El, whom I adore.
The scene at the hotel the first time Jiwoo and Jihoo are together had me in the floor. JiHoo's ex-girlfriend was super obnoxious and I'm glad she was only in a few scenes. I wouldnt watch again but it good enough to watch once.
