Both dramas are adapted by webtoons. Both Mls are young dark heroes who punish the criminals. Police is trying to catch them. Mls aslo cross the line of life and death.

Similarities: These two dramas are set in a place where justice seems to fail punishing criminals and both leads are taking action to punish these criminals, through unconventional way.

Difference: Vigilante is more like straight up action and hands on violence, and the lead is doing his job undercover, hidden from the society... there seems to be a mystery in public perspective of who is the real Vigilante.

The Devil Judge portrays this concept of "being bad to defeat the evil" through courtroom trials that are aired on TV, while giving the society agency to vote whether defendant is guilty or innocent. The head judge is like a celebrity and a distinguish figure in the drama. It has more a complex storyline of hate to love, past trauma and found family aspect.

They both have a thriller like background, and follow a concept of a vigilante punishing evil people/ revenge type story.

Just, if you liked one, I’m pretty sure you’ll like the other. They both have action (good looking blood - if u like that), good plot (gripping), and very nice acting.

Both shows have the theme of revenge and justice meted out by those whom the law has failed. It has action in it and is sure to give you a thrill and an adrenaline rush. Revolves around crimes and the loopholes in law. Taxi Driver also has a season 2 that is equally good as the first season, just in case you haven't had enough of this particular brand of shows.

In both, the main character is police officers who secretly hide their dark side. She's plotting his revenge, while he's plotting his revenge on people who deserve it. These are also great dramas that I wholeheartedly recommend.

both are under the same genre, where they fight against injustice in their own way—one with technology and the other with instinct.

both take matters into their own hands the antagonist for hell roulette and the ML from vigilante, both punishes the evildoers

They are both about how violence breeds violence, with situations that spiral out of control.

They feature similar themes of retribution and I also think the vibes are similar.

Apart from that, the dramas are different in terms of the setting and character ages. Although both feature students, one features a Policy-Officer in training while the other feature high school students.

WHC1 is about bullies and while there is some implicit critques of society, it is "closer" to the characters than in Vigilante where the critque of society is specifically about injustice in the criminal system.

Both also feature a Bromance (WHC1's is more plot relevant) and has characters I grew to care about almost instantly.

Both are adapted from webtoons. ML in Vigilante doesn’t have powers but he’s maintaining a secret identity. I’m not entirely sure why but they just feel similar—maybe it’s the violent fight scenes.

The same male lead in both
same story about vigilante justice
same justified actions by the male lead
the vigilante was different in age for both but same story in so many ways

Both main characters kill people in the name of justice believing they are righteous, and are in a cat & mouse chase with detectives. Vigilante has more action but death note has more of the detective work.

Both have antihero, police officer male leads who punish criminals who escape the law. They deal with themes such as morality, justice, and the fallible legal system. Keibuho Daimajin is Japanese, while Vigilante is Korean. Also similar to the 2010 Japanese dorama Joker Yurusarezaru Sousakan.
