This episode takes a serious turn with 2 cases arriving before the main leads. One of them is about a hooligan stealing his grandma's money. But to avoid being caught, he signs a guarantee paper with Wei and is forced to return the money. And out of revenge, he hires bullies to beat up Wei. But his plan is foiled by the timely arrival of Chong and Xun. They both defeat the bad guys together and send him to jail. The second case story is about domestic violence happening to one of the wives of their teacher. It is quite evident that she was physically abused and is reluctant to go to court. But Wei Chong supports her and always tells her to collect the torture evidence. Quite contradictory to his past before the timeline scene, Chong, this time, supports the victim despite getting a great job opportunity from her husband.
