Fluffy heterosexual monogamy that has probably gone too far but is easy to watch...
When the drama is filmed though a fuzzy pink filter you know you are in for an easy ride of fluff... The drama itself offers very little plot, making me wonder what the plot actually was. Was there a plot? or was is just a collection of fluffy friendships, unrequited love and a prolonged press of figuring out ones not so complicated feelings. On the way we get to see playful characters interact in fluffy hoodies among fluffy scenery eating cotton candy and chasing each other to slow mo music saying I love you...
What I loved about this drama was the female lead, even if there was an episode where she lost a point or two in my mind she is just such a lovable character, fun, easy going, the type of girl who can stand up for herself, knows what she wants and is not really ashamed to go go for it (okay maybe it takes a while to figurere it out).
The male lead on the other hand started out all fun and mature but lost his charm as the episodes passed by, though he does have a few fun and sweet scenes (ok a lot of those) his reactions went a bit overboard and got on my nerves at times making me wonder has monogamy and heterosexuality gone just a little bit to far? As the guy once he is in love can not even have a female fish in his room for some odd reason.. not to mention gets jealous of the fl past crushes? making me go what the...
The side characters are mostly lovable, however there is this best friend that is just a little bit to stupid to be believable... Which of course also got on my nerves,... he is however lovable most of the time so I forgive him.
Bingabilaty: high
fluff: a whole cotton candy swirl
Romance: meeh
Annoying elements: few
Credibility/realistc: low
Consent: high not a single forces/drunk kiss in sight
Angst: low
Definitely a drama that will fulfil all your fluff needs, but not much more

Story of a puppy love
The story is like other stories of a younger man in love with his older childhood friend. The story is excellent; it captures the seriousness of the FL in her work and the love of the ML to the FL.At first, I wanted to watch this series because of Zhang Miao Yi. A support character. I love her in Fly Towards You and the current short story, Back to Seventeen; She may have a brief appearance, but I would love to see them (Fang Xiao Dong).
To give justice in starting the series, I try to finish it. Skip a little bit (more likely), but I finished it. It's kinda of boring at some time. The characters are too severe, aside from some comedy of the ML. But in all, it isn't exciting.

More about friendship and life struggles
If you’re looking for romance, it’s not really prevalent in this drama. This one is more about friendship, life as a young adult with work struggles, and the side story of siblings in secondary school. The ML is a champion on the Shooting Team but there’s not much about the sport or the training aspect of it.The romance was very slow burn. Both leads knew each other when they were kids, he moved away and met each other again 10 years later. First few episodes seemed like he was very attracted to her, but the dynamic changed to more brother-sister vibe. [Spoiler]Then it dragged all the way till Ep 18 where they only got together then ::):) [End spoiler] I’ve liked He Yu since My Fated Boy (which was great!) In this he acted well, according to script which made him rather childish. The FL was quite good too and quite pretty. There were two other “potential” couples, but no real romance progression per say.
Music OST wasn’t that fantastic for me.
Give this one a go.. at least it’s short and the storyline is good. Not much angst nor ridiculous plots lol :)

I was smiling????
Light hearted romcom.Dynamics between the leads is the childhood friends trope but the tension they put in it adds a little spice.
The male lead...i could write paragraphs on how he is the perfect casting. He has this smirk that goes crazy. Plus you cant categories him as pretty but his aura/charm/vibes goes crazy cause he just has it.
Am loving the writing so far its sweet and doesn't drag.
Anyone looking for a light feel good modern romance, definitely stop by and press play.
The music NEEDS TO GO sorry. That opening song, spare your watchers please.

An Adorable & Sweet Couple of Ji Qiu & Zhou Jiqian
Let’s Meet NowActually this title was name for the variety in this drama. The variety was produced by FL and her teammates. They take 5 casts including ML and her best friend in the variety.
▪️Main Point
~ ML was a childhood friend of FL but they’re separated because of ML’s parents was transferred to the other country.
▪️Opinions
~ First of all, the development of the relationship between ML and FL was so slow. ML knew his feeling towards FL in the earlier episode but he did not confess and wait until the end of the episode. It’s was quite frustrating since you’re expecting more from them.
~ FL recognize her feeling at the end of the episode when she started to talk and think about ML all the times. She did not believe she had fallen in love with ML since she only think him as a brother.
~ Even their love relationship was frustrating but their friendship was lovely and strong. They’re always meet and eat together even everyone were busy with their jobs. It was good to see how they’re managed their friendship and get together.
~ I was really liking the second couple all the time. Even their relationship also slow but they’re looked so perfect together. Both of them were cute and sweet especially for the girl. She likes the man first then decided to catch the man attention where she always comes and gave the foods or helps the man during her free time. It was really adorable!
~ The third couple also too adorable. They’re not considered as the couple but they’re also cute together. Since they’re still in school, so their relationship only based on the friendship. I think it was good since you’re can see the variety of the couple.
~ The drama was interesting since you’re can enjoying yourself to relax and watch how they’re acting. The song for the drama was also nice. They’re included the song in every parts of the scenes.
▪️Main Character
~ Ji Qiu was a strong, independent and cute woman. She was a producer and started to make the variety ‘Let’s Meet Now’ with her teammates. She did not gave up even though the variety’s views was not really good at first. She was so adorable when she coupled with Jiqian since they’re both so cute and sweet.
~ Zhou Jiqian was a shooting player and he was handsome and popular. He remembers everything about his childhood friend and decides to stay close to her. He care about his friendships and always focused on his games. He was too adorable when he started his relationship with Ji Qiu since he always showing his sweet actions towards her.
~ Song rongrong was an adorable, sweet and kind girl. She started to move towards the man first when she knew about her feelings toward him. She cares about him and also cares about her friends. Even though she was so slow, but it was okay since she able to think what’s best for her. She had a good chemistry with Xu Wang.
~ Xu Wang was a handsome, good and serious man. He did not like to have anybody close to him but he mets some new friends when transferring to a new team. He was sweet man but he has his own problems to overcome. Until he mets song rongrong, everything started to be okay.
▪️Conclusion
I think this drama good for anyone who want to see a fresh and relaxed drama. They’re all so cute and sweet and their friendship also the best. There’s no reason to drop this drama. You’ll enjoyed it!

Cuteness and wholesome overload
I am deeply in love with this drama. It's so simple, yet aesthetic. So classy, yet cute. The perfect fluff execution.First off, the lead cast is amazing. Both are super attractive. The female lead has this adorable eye smile that I can't get over and the male lead's facial expressions have this natural yet killer charm to it. These two alone satisfied the visuals for the whole series for me, but they didn't stop there. The show is centered around these two - and while I can see why some consider the pacing slow, it never felt slow and it's not a bother to watch versus in other shows. The "slow" build-up is sorta the point. Every scene adds a new layer of chemistry between our leads and it's this type of natural and genuine chemistry that the show tries to sell. When they finally do get together, the chemistry really does feel real and sweet. And it's this fluffy feeling I get the show absolutely nails.
The supporting cast is also super likable, they all have their own quirks yet when they clash, there is chemistry between them as friends. I especially like the ML's best friend who is always there for everyone and is very wholesome to watch. The second lead also had a very mature performance. It's pretty obvious early on that he had no chance but his role was still very important to provoke the ML and added some depth to unrequited love as a long-term friend with the FL.
A criticism I saw from another reviewer mentioned that there are no side plots, and to that, I will say "You are not paying attention". If you are native Chinese, you would know that the title of the drama also happens to be the title of the show that FL eventually directs. This is significant because even though the show arc only recovered a quarter of the series, the founding idea of it is the exact motif for the show. The selling point is that a friendship that has chemistry is also very attractive and I personally think this is reflected exactly in the show. In Chinese, we call this 默契.
Lastly, the music selection is perfect for this drama. Everything from the documentary style cut in the opening to the various songs the drama plays, the feeling is so appropriately matched! As a bonus, the opening later on reflects back to a scene where the cast in the show the FL directs asked the cast to film their own special memory in a vlog - this is just so beautifully connected.
So in summary, while the story is nothing ground-breaking here, the execution was perfect in my eyes and it truly brought me so much joy, hopes and happiness watching it.
Overall, if you prefer quality over quantity in a drama, this is you. If you like romantic genres with lots of wholesome, cuteness, and fluff, this is for you. if you like positive and uplifting messages and motifs in a drama, this is for you.

A hilarious rom com with some flaws...
ML and SML had more chemistry than ML and FL tbh...in fact out of the hundreds of permutations and combinations of relationships in this drama, my least favorite were the romantic pairings(Except the HS couple, they were super adorable).ML and SML, ML and his lil bro, SML and his lil sister, ML and his shooting team trio, ML and SML's lil sis, SML and ML's lil brother, and the 6 member friends group, all of them had great chemistry between them, making this a delightful and hilarious watch. Even the dynamics between the variety show cast members and rapport between the FL's work team was wonderful and fun to watch.
I'm not unhappy with the ending but I think it would have been better if the main leads romance had not been realized and it had been an open ending. We could clearly see how crazy both ML and SML were for the FL, but after her completely oblivious reactions up to almost 18/20 episodes, her realization wasn't believable. I felt both ML and SML deserved better than her. I'd have preferred her to get another boyfriend and be in her blissful oblivion and leave the 2 male leads alone to their bromance.
All in all, a hilarious watch. Perfect casting and some great scenes make this an 8.5/10 for me. Just wish they could have done away with the main romance.
P. S - I rofl-ed at the scene with Zhou Yubei(ML's lil bro) and his essay on his "good for nothing brother". That was comedic gold. Same with any scene involving bickering between ML and SML especially them playing "Never have I ever" and trying to beat each other down!? SML and his mortified reactions at his sister being ML's die hard fan were also a laugh riot.

Unrequited Love, Friendship, and a Dash of Comedy: 'Let's Meet Now'
This is a fluffy romance drama which was what I was looking for! I'm a fan of Zhang ZiJian which is what compelled me to watch this. Let's Meet Now offers no plot but rather just fluffy romance scenes. There are multiple themes including friendship, unrequited love and romance (duh). There is a portion of comedy which is also really enjoyable. The OST however is really something, and it just needs to go. To me it sounds really cringe and I don't know yucky. The ending tied off really well for the main couple but I felt the side characters didn't get their justice. An ending of just a few scenes indicating what happened to the side characters was very vague and unsatisfying. It's not exactly an open ending but just leaves you grasping at straws. If you enjoy romance, then I'll recommend it but other than that 8/10.Was this review helpful to you?

Kind of boring (as nothing exciting happens)
My friend recommended that I watch this drama. She said that it was a sweet show and I doubt her not.I started on it but eventually, I decided to drop it. I do not detest this show. I do not detest any of the actors/ actresses. The reason why I decided to throw in the towel for this one was because nothing much was happening at all. Another plausible reason could be that I had just watched "Lost Track of Time" which I liked and enjoyed tremendously and so, I could not appreciate the fairly green acting and unexciting plot. I'd say that "LTOT" was like eating Ma La. It was spicy and yet, strangely addictive. I'd say that "Let's Meet Now" is like plain porridge - kind of comforting and easy to have but really quite bland.
Other notes:
I think that the FL lead is quite cute - she reminds me of Sandy Lam.
I think that the little girl, the second ML's sister, is adorable - she reminds me of young Ariel Lin.
I think that the ML is quite handsome.
However, I'm looking for a more exciting and engaging plot!
Although I can probably sit through this drama and I am pretty sure that it'll be a decent watch, I decided not to waste my time on plain porridge but to seek savoury instead! I like my dramas with more taste and meat! :)
