I, Joe Ma, am not young in age, but young at heart. Returning to Hong Kong from Malaysia, I planned to reach new heights in my career. But my mother is superstitious, my wife wants a divorce, my business encounters difficulties, my younger siblings despise me, and there is even a drug seller who spent twenty years in jail and claiming that he owns half of my mother’s house. There is no peace at home, but really, whose family has no difficulties? Luckily, I have enough life experience and everything is under control… (Source: CasualTVB) Edit Translation

All Wrong
The casts are a messed up, especially Joe Ma and Lisa Lau. The best acting would be Paw Hee-Ching and Stephanie Che. I purposely register this username due to my threshold is being trashed mainly by Joe Ma's acting and Lisa Lau Malaysian Cantonese wanna be. I like Joe's acting before this but this role was really such a mess and not for him, and his age was way way way out. Felt disgusted. Mr/Ms Scriptwriter, pls don't force someone who doesn't speak English to have a daily tagline in English "Evifing is under contol"? And Lisa Lau's wanna be Malaysian Cantonese accent. Every time she speaks the so-called Malaysian Cantonese I feel like puking. She got it all wrong. I seriously blame this on those who teaches her. I speak both Malaysian Cantonese and Hong Kong native Cantonese. Hers are really speechless. And we Malaysian speak English with proper pronunciation, e.g. we don't pronounce Designer as "Designa", etc. Mr/Ms Director and Producer pls get your facts right on Malaysia Cantonese accent (and English too), housing sizes, etc. Not all Malaysian can even afford the size of properties you had in the Drama. We have even much much much smaller size condos/apartments in Malaysia. And you portrayed as if all ppl with a title Datuk are filthy rich. Everything are just so wrong. As a Malaysian and TVB long time fan. This is really unacceptable. The story line is already lame enough. To all Hong Kongers, do not trust a single thing and info. that relates to Malaysia in this drama. And to all Malaysian who is thinking to watch this drama or contemplating, pls be ready to all the mentioned above issues before you decided to.Was this review helpful to you?
Best supporting actress
Though Stephanie seems older than her role of Double, she redeemed herself with excellent skills, She is such a great actress that she looked so natural with the character. For me she's definitely the best supporting actress for the year. JoeMa started rather badly with his exaggerated false bravado...maybe comedy is not his core competence. But when Duncan toned down after realising his lack of sincerity it got better. This drama series is really worth watching. I agree about the inaccurate reference to the Malaysian culture and social practices. Writer needs better research.
