I'm on your side

First BL i watch and i think the bar got to high. I love it. I was completely obssesed with them from the end of episode 1 and i almost spoiled myself on social media because i really wanted to know what was going to happened and that only happened to me with "Alchemy of souls" (I got spoiler so hard on this one lol my own fault)

Kinn and Porsche have beyond this world chemistry since the first minute when Porsche takes Kinn's watch and Kinn is done for. After Vegas tried to kiss him in that bathroom we got one of the hottest and best scenes ever when their relationship really started. As usual when the main leads got together the tension between them dissapeared and could make the drama drag a little. That doesn't happen here because, besides the main story full of plot twist, we got something in the last 3 episodes that got me in a chokehold: Vegas and Pete relationship.

I'm still processing everything about them. I'm not sure how to really feel. At the end they seems to be ok together and of course their sex scene is incredible hot but... is Pete really mentally ok for this? it could be stockholm's syndrome, Vegas tortured him during days and got him prisioner. Before being able to escape, he seems to regret everything that happened between them. He even wants to die.

If i could really try to make a point for a happy ending with them, maybe Pete was confused with his feelings and seems to regret everything because, why are you wanna be with someone who torture you? At the end, he decides that he loves him no matter what so he is not going to think about it anymore, it is what it is. Vegas also seems to understand everything he did wrong when he tell him that he can go if he wants to. So idk i think i will keep thinking about this for a while, it was that intense.

Tankhun could be crazy but i was cheering him up when he was the only one trusting Porsche when Tawan try to make him the mole and after when he knew something was happening to Pete. In both this times he seems the only sane one tbh.

Another great point? The main song is sooo beautiful and the moments we hear it were so well chosen. I already got it on my playlist.

So after all this why i don't give it a 10? Well, i try to be very picky with my 10. Everything have to be tight in terms of plot, acting, development and romance to give it a 10. In this case there was some things that makes me takes that half a point:

-The acting was great overall (Special mention to Bible Wichapas who was perfect on his portraying of Vegas, sooo good) but some was a little bad so i couldn't get in that part of the story.

-In the last episodes, Porsche calling Vegas for help and trusting him more than Kinn pissed me off. Specially because it happened after Kinn ask him for a fresh start without secrets. I found it out of
character tbh.

-I didn't got hook up in the first episode, the end of the first episode makes me keep watching because the chemistry but i wasn't so sure about the rest. It pick up after through, but all my 10s i
was done for in the first episode minute 1 lol.

overall, it was a fantastic and thrilling ride and i recommend this drama to everyone. I'm going to miss them a lot ♥♥♥

Was not what I expected.

This series to me had a lot of potential the moment the first trailer was aired.

A lot of BL fans loved the idea of this new series with it's new storyline that we hadn't seen before.
The storyline of a BL couple that wasn't focused on university but a storyline with a bit rougher background: The mafia.
The first trailer showed a series that not just acting wise but also set wise was really well thought of. I kept rewatching the trailer over and over again.

Sadly they had to postpone shooting the series itself because of Covid. In that time period the series became a bit less of a novelty because more companies realized that BL focused on university was good and all but there were also fans who wanted something different. More BL's aired with different storylines and by the time that Kinnporsche was going to air it wasn't that special anymore.

The final trailer of the series came out and I had to do my best not to dislike the series based on the trailer. Because I couldn't dislike a series because I liked the first trailer more than the new trailer. So I did my best to watch the series with an open mind.

The beginning was really good and I can't say a lot of bad things about it.

I saw a lot of people ranting about the non-consensual scenes in the series and I have to agree that: yes it is messed up and if that would happen in real life that person belongs in jail but this isn't real life. It is a series. A series supposed to be focused on the mafia. It was a bit romanticized how the mafia worked. There were in the end some scenes that were a little bit more realistic but overall the series was really romanticized. So that people were all discussing how the kissing etc. was non-consensual didn't really faze me. I had actually expected more mafia-ish things in this series but it wasn't that present. There was one scene of Vegas, that if you have watched the series you will know, that I really liked that showed a bit more of what the mafia family was capable of.

I have to applaud the actors for their acting though. They really gave their all, literally and figuratively. I think overall it is a matter of personal tastes. I feel that they were trying to make up for not being as 'original' anymore with the large amount of sex scenes and nude ness if you can call it that. They went really naked and despite me not really liking that they really went far for this series I have to give credit where credit is due.

It was also nice that most of the cast stayed in the series despite the delay. Some actors' roles were changed from what they were originally supposed to be but other than that I was really happy to see them staying on.

The storylines from the side characters were really interesting and some were fun to watch and others were heartbreaking. When you know, you know.

I have read the original novel and I can say that the series is less bad. In the book Porsche has a big temper issue and gets angry really quickly. Kinn isn't much better in the book.

All in all I did like the series but it is definitely not my favorite one of this year.

Having read the novel, Be On Cloud did a great job in adapting the story to a series it is much darker intense and greater than the actual novel. Other people might say that some only watch it because of the sx scenes but it is much more than that. The casting is also perfect Apo did a great job portraying Porsche. A character whos strong on the outside but has a weak spot for Kinn ?? what really shocked me is Bible. When i found out that this is his first acting gig i was dumbfounded like he did a good job. His emotions when he was begging Pete to stay on ep 13 was so raw i thought he had some acting experience but i was wrong ?? I usually get cringe with other Thai BL series because of cliche scenes and chessy lines but this series is a breath of fresh air. The ost also is stuck in my head especially Jeff's song. His voice is just wow. The musical scoring for the instense scenes were also on point. Cant wait for season 2 hopefully they keep up with the hype and expectations ??

Absolutely stunning. Do not miss out!

Trigger warnings: violence, blood, guns, kidnapping, abuse, torture, sexual assault (dubious consent)

This series is beautiful.

I could (and will) go on for paragraphs and paragraphs about all the different things that blew me away, but what I really need you to know is that Kinnporsche is beautiful.

From the very first moment that I watched the trailer, I was intrigued by this series. Finally we are getting a breath of fresh air in the BL industry: no university setting or young leads, but a mature, adult setting and plot. Kinnporsche promised to challenge the industry norms, to create something unique and interesting and breathtaking, and in my opinion - it completely delivered. This series will have you on the edge of your seat, it will make you laugh, it’ll make you cry, it’ll tug at your heart strings and make you blush; it’s cinematic, unbelievably acted by a cast with unmatched chemistry and managed to achieve so much in only 14 episodes. No, it’s not perfect - but perfect doesn’t exist, and a series doesn’t have to be perfect to be outstanding.

1: Cast

The strongest asset that Kinnporsche has, in my opinion, is it's incredibly talented cast and crew. I have never seen a show with such a vast cast filled with well thought-out, interesting and well-acted characters. We really get a little bit of everything here and there is a character for everyone - in fact, I’d be surprised if every viewer didn’t develop a little band of favourites along the way.

My favourite, and in my opinion the strongest actor, is Apo, who plays Porsche. He embodies the character of Porsche. He acts with every fiber of his being - everything from his hands to his feet to the shine of his eyes. I was so incredibly impressed with range - how he moved from playful, bright-eyed and goofy Porsche to broken and hurt, to confident and proud and everything in between. His acting is just phenomenal - I don’t even have the words to do it justice, you just have to watch and you’ll see what I mean.

Bible playing Vegas was just electric. I am still in disbelief that this is his first acting role because he took the role of Bible and brought it to life with such a desperate intention that it gave me goosebumps on more than one occasion. He really brings Vegas to life, and getting to see his character develop as we slowly are able to peel off the layers of the walls he’s built up… Wow. That’s all I can say - I’m so impressed by the performance he put out.

This being said, the rest of the cast really brought their A game and it shows. Mile is Kinn. He owns the role, which is so incredibly different from himself, and he never breaks from it, down to the smallest of gestures. Build as Pete brought a warmth and fun light, which slowly cracked when put under too much pressure. Not to mention Tong as Tankhun - nobody else could play Tankhyun like Tong. He is such a gifted actor who really threw himself into the role. There are so many newbie actors in this show, such as Nodt who plays Big or Bas as Arm, but they really shine; it’s clear the crew is so supportive and gifted with direction.

2: Characters

I fell in love with so many characters along the way. Another gift that Kinnporsche brought us is so many interesting and engaging characters who show so many different sides of themselves along the way. Of course, the most obvious would be Porsche and Kinn - their character development from episode 1 to episode 14 is nothing short of staggering. They really grow with each experience, learning and changing because of each other as well as those around them, yet still staying true to themselves. We have Porsche, a fiercely loyal fighter with this intense need to protect - it begins with his brother, but after falling in love, extends to Kinn. I love that you can see how protective Porsche is with his actions, big or small; choices that he makes and by the way that he touches Kinn, the way he puts himself between Kinn and danger.

Vegas is just so overwhelmingly complex and I loved his character way more than I anticipated. He begins as the guy you love to hate - the classic villain set up, as if intentionally, as a mirror image to who Kinn could have been under different circumstances. Vegas is beautifully written as he is acted, this broken, shell of a person who’s fucked up by nature and that energy has only been fueled by the abuse he’s grown up with. Watching Vegas leaves you with whiplash, and I loved every second of his screen time.

All the side characters are fully fleshed out individuals, not just meant to take up space and create a backdrop for the leads. I loved Kinn’s friends Tay and Time, and the hint at whatever is happening with the two of them and Tem grabbed my attention immediately. Tankhun is a rockstar, there is absolutely no disagreeing with me on that. Arm and Pol are such wonderful friends to Porsche, Big is a hard-ass but so unbelievably loyal to his work. I truly found something enjoyable in every character.

All three main relationships had my attention, which is honestly a first for me. I often feel that dramas with multiple ships try to cater to different audiences while doing so (which often leaves many viewers disinterested/fast forwarding through certain ones) but here we had three huge home runs. All three ships worked so well together because they were so different. We had the volatile, intense and passionate Kinn and Porsche, the sweet and innocent yet steeped in dishonesty Kim and Chay and rounding it off, the broken and tortured Vegas and Pete.

3: Production

The production value of this series really helped it from falling into typical cliche BL tropes. The editing, the sound production, the simple quality of the way that the scenes are stitched together. Some episodes can be a little bit jumpy (it feels like there were so many more scenes than they had time to fit into each episode), but the gorgeous filming makes it all worth it.

The action scenes in Kinnporsche are unmatched. They're action movie quality; it never feels cheesy or unrealistic. I've yet to ever watch any BL that could come close.

One thing that is so important to note is that the sex scenes are not gratuitious, and I have yet to watch another series ever where none of the sex scenes feel like they’re just there for the simple fact that sex sells. Rather, each sex scene is so important to the plot, so steeped in the character’s emotions. The actors are so impressive in how they carry out these scenes - I was just left jaw on floor impressed every time. The way they manage to imbue so much emotion, so much care and love into every scene just leaves me so, so impressed.

4: Writing/Story

The writers of this series took a complete U-turn from the original novel which I am so grateful for. I haven’t read the novel (and plan to never do so) because the themes in it are so toxic… I much prefer the series. While the writing isn’t perfect, I found it quite enjoyable; there were surprises without too many plot holes, and while I did have some complaints, they were minor.

I love how this series weaves comedy in with the intensity to keep it from feeling too much; there’s always some comedic relief to follow the high tension, making the series feel well-rounded.

Of course, all of this isn’t to say that the series was perfect. There were definitely some plot holes or just choices I didn’t agree with, but overall, it was so enjoyable.

Finale spoilers below - skip next paragraph to avoid!

I’m still not sure how I feel about the whole plot line with Porsche and Porschay’s mom, but that will really depend on how it all plays out in season 2. It was definitely unexpected, and honestly, I would have preferred they take another route. However I don’t hate it, and that was my only qualm with the end of season 1. Oh, that and how they handled Big’s death… we got a hedgehog funeral but none for Big?! What’s up with that BoC. What’s up with that! Jokes aside, the finale was satisfying. At first I wasn’t sure I liked Porsche becoming head of the minor family - but then I saw him walk out in that green suit with his head held high and I immediately changed my mind. It’s such a smart move, to put Kinn and Porsche as heads of the families, to ultimately bring everyone under one collective and make them easier to control. I also just have to mention. The ending for VegasPete?? It was not what I was anticipating but it was what I was hoping for. Oh my gosh. That hit my right where it hurt and in the best way.

Overall:

Strap in for a roller coaster of a ride. You’ll feel every emotion under the sun and finish it ready for more.

This was actually the first Thai drama that I watched right from the drop of episode 1 to the finale, every week. In between episodes, I regularly rewatched those that had already aired. I’ll be desperately missing Kinnporsche Saturdays - I’m ready for season 2, and in the meantime, I’ll be rewatching season 1 constantly!

SO GOOD that it's on my rewatch list!

KinnPorsche has set an entire NEXT LEVEL Standard for all the BL dramas out there. I mean, the visual is obvious, but it's not just that. Finally, we get a BL that is not engineer students or school setting. That alone is like a miracle, really. LOL

THE OST IS A BOMB! I don't speak Thai and yet it's the first Thai song that truly speaks and touches my heart!

Plus, I actually love the storyline of KP too. It has great mix of comedy, action and hot, damn hot scene.

The chemistry between the couple is SO good, they are my favorite Thai BL couple now!!

I really hope to see more BL dramas that are so daring and out of the norm like this. While the mafia story might not be "up to standard" for some of movie critics here, but as I've shared at beginning, as a BL lover, its a gem to find one that isn't about school setting, that actually is REALLY GOOD without it being weird either lol

Definitely enjoyed this show!

The best BL drama. Nothing can top it

BRUUUUHHH...Vegas stoled this show? i just loved seing him happy in the end with Pete? it broke
my heart seing him dieing and Pete crying ? ? ?
in the end he was just a tormented soul ? so happy he survived. Also so ending scene with Vegas and Pete just made my day a lot more happier. On the other hand
Chay and Kim I'm sad they didn't had the best ending.?
I mean it's obvious they love each other they deserved a better ending. The subtle way Kim protected Chay it's
just endearing.

It's A Good Series, But Certainly NOT a Great Series

I will make this review as short as possible given the complexities of this series.

THE GOOD:

1) The series obviously seems to have had a big budget. No expense was spared in the scenery, costumes, film sites, etc. The series had the feel of a "bi budget movie." The flow of the story (such as it was) was pretty good. There were several subplots within the main story, or at least it seemed that way to me. These subplots, IMO, were just as significant as the main story. Some things in the series kind of depended on whether or not you've read the novel ahead of time. However, it should be noted that there several differences between the novel and series. And, IMO, I think that was probably a good and wise decision for the director, screenwriter and producers to vary from the novel.

The action in the series made it feel like a true action series, and NOT just a BL.

2) The cast was pretty darn good, even though it was a large cast. Some of the characters were very different than what we are used to in a BL series, and I think that made the series kind of refereshing. I especially like the character of Tankhun, Pete, Vegas, and Yok (the bar owner). These characters (although were support characters) really made some of the storyline come alive.

3) The steamy sex scenes between the mains. Yes, some posters commented that the scenes bordered on "porno." But, they were hot, steamy, and the chemistry of the mains during these scenes seemed genuine.

THE NOT SO GOOD:

1) First and foremost is the violence. There's a lot of it. Yes, it's a mafia-based series and it is expected that there would be mafia-like violence, such as murder, torture, drug deals, mass killings, etc. This is most definitely something that is different than in most BLs durint he past several years.

2) The questionable sex scene between Kinn and Porsche, as well the treatment and sex scene (and eventual relationship) between Vegas and Pete. Several posters found some of this behavior questionable at best, and down right wrong at its worst. Many threw around suggestions of Stockholm syndrome with Vegas and Pete, which stirred a lengthy and heated "discussion" amongst posters. I'm not going to entertain a comment -- you can view those scenes and decide for yourself.

3) Although many will disagree, IMO, KinnPorsche, with as new and different a BL as it was, still kind of clinged on to a aged old stereotypes and tropes. Here are a few examples:
a. The series appeared to still hold to the old "seme/uke" standard. It appeared that Kinn and Vegas were the semes and Porsche and Pete were the ukes. These roles seemed to not vary at all during the series.
b. The dreaded "drug" sex between Kinn and Porsche. This also lends to the trope that "Kinn turned Porsche gay" and the two falling in love after one night of sex. What, never heard of one-night stands???

THE INTERESTING:

1) All the main characters were attractive "pretty boys," even the bodyguards in Kinn's organization (the major family). They all looked liked they walked out a GQ magazine spread. There were NO "ugly" bodyguards in the bunch. Now, in Vegas' organization (the minor family), those bodyguards seemed like what we've come to see in other mafia genre movies and series. The bodyguards of the "main family" were also all very young, fit, and dressed like Men in Black. That was kind of interesting to me.

2) It was interesting that the two sons of mafia families were openly lgbt+ and no one seemed to have any kind of problem with it, not even their mafia fathers. I know that was probably part of the BL fantasy part of this series. But, it was still very interesting.

3) It was interesting that both Porsche and his younger brother, as well as Kinn and his younger brother ended up liking men. Yes, it may be slightly out-of-touch to make such as statement. However, it is still unique (although not impossible) to have mostly lgbt+ sons in one family, something not duplicated much in real life.

4) I also found interesting how the series managed to have drama, suspense, humor, sex, violence, and family all rolled up into one series. Yes, at times, it did not make much sense. However, at other times, it did make sense.

5) Finally, so overall, I would say that KinnPorsche was a really good series for what it was, DIFFERENT. And, different made it interesting. And, being interesting is what made me stick with it for 14 episodes, when I intitially wanted to drop it around episode 6 or 7.

On that note, I shall end it here.

♥"˜*•. AWES♥ME! .•*˜"♥

I have found results for KinnPorsche several times in my search for a good Asian BL Series. I watched it and was amazed! All four of the main actors are very cute and have great acting ability. Loved the storyline ... all the way to the end. Highly recommend for content and steamy love scenes! I'm hoping for possible KinnPorsche II ;')

TOTALLY WORTH THE HYPE

KinnPorsche is not your regular BL. It actually has a engaging storyline. Even though the plot has so many flaws, it was quite entertaining. I am not big fan of action but the action sequence in this series was awesome. I totally regretted watching this drama while airing as this is a binge worthy show. I started watching it because i liked Porsche but in the end fell in love with Vegas. Pete and Vegas love story was messed up but i really love the pair. Kinn and Porsche has great chemistry. Unlike other bl, both the main character were strong and both were able to protect each other. There was no damsel in distress situation. The actors did the great job. There were quite too many steamy scenes. If you were not into it, this show is not for you. I did not like the last ending though as I felt something was missing. Overall, this show is totally worth your time.

I'm not here to talk about Kinn and Porsche

I've seen Kinn and Porsche's story so many times, but I keep coming back because of Vegas and Pete. I have a soft spot for Pete, he was a good fit for this character and his smile is just perfection

We all know Vegas and Pet have a very toxic relationship because it starts with a basic kidnap and captivity, however, there's just something about these two that drew us in, and I think it was the chemistry. Their physical and mental chemistry is just one of the best that there is, it's crazy how a show can make us fall in love with a crazy relationship.

I think it's different in that you see them gradually falling in love with each other throughout the captivity because in any other show the "victim" is forced to fall in love to stay alive. Still, these two do it on their own, especially Pete because Vegas fell for Pete first, you can see it if you rewatch and look at the way Vegas looks at Pete during their encounters. Still, Pete fell harder just from getting to know Vegas and understanding him. Pete had an opportunity to run away but he chose to stay with Vegas.

Also in the last episode when we thought Vegas died, I did not know there was an ending for these two until I reached it and it was so good, I think these two need a spin-off or another series for just them because again, their chemistry is off the charts.

Side note: how did they not know Pete never came back? It's technically the Major's family's fault for Pete falling in love because they took so long to realize he was gone.

That opening theme I love it

WELL. I finished this series in less than 24 hours. The first episode had me a little iffy but I was sucked in fast but iffy probably just cause I haven’t watched this genre much. But this series was ALL over social media even when I follow tons of Kdrama accounts so I knew something was going on with it.

Is it just me getting old or did all the actors look like babies??? But they are my age??? I’m getting old ;_;

First I love that opening song and it popped up during a lot of kickass action scenes. This drama had lots of steamy scenes, cute stuff, romantic stuff and funny stuff. It also had tons of actions, some scenes of torture and intended/suggested rape or molestation for trigger warning. But it also had some awesome ass characters. I love characters that can bend and change and change how you feel about them.

First enter Porchse badass sexy bartender ladies man for sure seems real smooth when he enters on that first episode and he is smooth as shit when he saves Kinn but as soon as he enters the main house he becomes a clumsy idiot who keeps getting into trouble. I was like whoa what is this change and what has befallen you my dude. Kinn also was kind of badass and smooth and poise and then when they later showed moments of being not too bright in survival and abit directionally challenged and abit aloof when trying to be a cute boyfriend. Anyways these two main characters had many different sides to them not just one sided cardboard cutout. Loved it.

I also loved all the side relationships but it also made me want like multiple series and TO KNOW MORE. But I also was kind of confused about the Kim and Chay relationship because Chay was a fan and came off a little obsessed and stalkerish but I’m assuming at that point they were a lot closer as friends but they just didn’t show that on screen because later they showed all those Polaroids. I was confused bc it seemed he confessed his feelings they spent a night together and then he was kidnapped and they didn’t see each other again so I was like where did they take these couple photos. So I’m assuming they had this mystery relationship off screen that we were suppose to just know or understand? That’s fine. I wish they had more screen time and it flowed better. It felt weird then getting together in the beginning and cringey but later it was cute.

Vegas and Pete. Oh mg god. Ultimate favorite but horribly wrong in the beginning and fucked. There was always some weird chemistry with them. I love how Vegas changed even in the end when he came to the main house I still didn’t hate him. Cuz the time he spent with Pete made me not hate him anymore.

So I need like another series for Pete&vegas and also like Kim & Chay

Thanks please watch
