Binge-Worthy Drama
Just finished Reset(开端), series about one guy and a girl stuck in time loop. They need to stop the bus from exploding. Need to say this is a phenomenal show. The two leads did a really great job. The plot is really solid and unlike other c-dramas it's just 15 ep . Not once did I feel bored while watching this show. Oh yes I forgot to mention that the ed is fking nice and the song played in the last episode ? . Really loved those small anime references .It's a must watch for people who like stories with time loop and sci-fi thriller. One of the best thriller drama I've seen this year
Not only the best, this drama doesn't have any major logical problems with its plot.First, the chemistry between the 2 leads. It is perfectly built up alongside the plot. Their trust not instantly grew the moment they face eath other. They have to go through so many things that they can finally trust each each other. Also they're actually such adorable couple.
Second, the police's work isn't against any illogical way at all. Of course, policemen aren't perfect. But there are many dramas where the police are like a bunch of highschoolers who don't know how to conduct an investigation or even being outsmarted by ordinary citizens. In this drama, the police work according to what we expected them to do.
Third, all of the characters (especially the support roles) aren't there to be just cannon fodders. They exist with reasons. Moreover, all of the events happening in the drama can also be explained logically.
All in all, I don't have any major problems with this drama. There are only a few dramas that I gave more than 9.0 rating. This drama is one of them. Highly highly recommended.

Clean way to reset your mind
If you're looking for a drama that's short and not a lot of episodes then this drama is a must watch. I first saw some clips of this drama on my Tiktok for you page and thought it was interesting and decided to give it a try. Totally worth it!!! This drama is about two people who goes on a bus and ends up getting trapped in a time loop due to an explosion accident on the bus. THese two work together to solve the mystery and try to save everyone in the process. an amazing drama that's written really well. Although this drama mentions a cycle of repeat, it never gets boring. Each new cycle is filled with more clues and situations that makes you feel like your apart of the crowd. Each cycle is different and provides different points and clues. The main leads chemistry was amazing. Even though it was a slow-paced romance, but you could definitely feel the chemistry was there. with only 15 episodes, the directors and production crew managed to tell a story in a short amount of episodes while not rushing the plot or the ending, providing the viewers with a sense of comfort. Throughout the whole show, you will never get bored and it is really amazing to watch. Thee ending was also very well done, because usually in a short-episode dramas, they tend to rush the ending to quickly finish the drama, but all the pieces come together and provides a very satisfying ending. everyone on that bus got an ending where they live their normal lives and their happy, providing each character with a sense of closure. I also love the way all the passengers of the bus helped even though they dont know eachother, which really shows the compassion of people when faced with dangers.*A little spoiler!!!!!!*
The acting was also very well done by the whole cast, especially the lady carrying the bomb, hearing her story about her daughter and how painful it was for her.
Overall this was an amazing drama to help refresh your mind if you feel too overwhelmed by longer dramas or don't have a lot of time to finish a long drama. I finished this drama in 3 days, it was so addicting!!!!! <333333

It sooooo good, every episode keeps you up on your toes. Definitely recommend it!! its a great family friendly drama. All the actors did such a good job and every character has their own story. Binge worthy!
Wow! If I could just stop my review here, I would, but since a certain number of characters are required, I'll expound a little bit. First, the time loop premise - there are so many ways that it could have gone terribly wrong, the worst being feeling like everything is being re-hashed over and over. They did not fall into that trap, instead each loop was just a little bit different than the last, with us the audience, learning right along with the main characters. As I was watching, I felt that this was a really fresh take on the concept of deja vu.Acting - the main characters did an excellent. As I find in most Chinese dramas, the ancillaries suffer from overacting and the terrible dubbed voices. I could forgive it here because the whole story just kept moving so fast.
There was a touch of romance to the story, and it, by necessity, took a back seat to all the action. I really felt like the main characters were drawn together because of their experiences, but their relationship was very believable. I felt like if they met under ordinary circumstances, they would still be drawn to one another.
This show gets you to thinking about, if you could go back and change things, or set them right, how would you go about it? What would you be willing to do?
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of watching this.

i watched beacuse i got tired of normal love stories and i came across this and i immediatly fell inlove i usually dont like action but now i do its a good change from the romance i liked how they were together in everything and how they fell in love at the end they are good match honestly would like to see them together again!! Refreshing and captivating
Honestly didn’t know what to expect when getting into this but it was very refreshing as compared to the usual cdrama plot line the focus on the mystery on the bus and the showcase of relationships on the drama was done perfectly I’m a fan of all the actors after this, the acting was immersive I don’t think we’ll get this type of show for a while so I’ll be rewatching again. The most perfect drama I've seen!
This is absolutely one of my most favourite dramas by far! The characters were great, the storyline was amazing, and the overall performance was an absolute banger!I only watched this because some of my friends had watched it when it first came out, but I didn't have the heart to start it until this year (because I wasn't a cdrama fan back then). But now that I've finished it, I have to admit, I do wish I had seen it earlier.
To summarize the beginning, the FL wakes up on bus no. 45. Seemingly frantic, she yells to the bus driver that there is a pervert on the bus (AKA the ML). She ends up pulling the ML off the bus, and then leaves him without any explanation. However, she hears an explosion in the distance, and a motorcycle ends up bumping into her, which gives her a concussion. In the hospital, she sees the ML, who had debris all over his body. When the police come in to interrogate her, it is revealed that she is in a time loop, where the bus she is on is always about to explode. As expected, the police don't believe her, and then it is shown that the ML has died. The FL falls asleep, and then she wakes up on the bus again. Unexpectedly, the ML also wakes up and finds himself in the time loop. After many failed attempts to get off the bus, the two end up making plans to prevent the bus from exploding in the first place. The two progress through all the difficulties they face (getting interrogated by the police, getting stabbed, facing the truth of those behind the bombing, etc), and no matter how hard it is to find the truth, they continue to fight to protect the innocent beings on the bus and around.
I really enjoyed this drama, as it was more focused on the actual storyline and the development of the characters, and there was no side drama involved. The plot was straightforward, and kept me captivated throughout, which is why I really liked it.
I hope Restart (if it'll be confirmed to come out) will be as captivating and as awesome as Reset!

One of the best!
Truly one of the best C-Drama I have ever watched. IMHO, it also surpassed some K-Dramas. The story and the plot were concised and the time loop plots were not boring because they gave us more and new informations. Each episode also explored the different story about each passangers. It gave me suspense and made me curious that I kept wanting more. The drama managed to surprise me with the twists but it also gave a clear picture of what could really happen in real life (how onlookers are afraid to report, or how some cases were not investigated completely). All the actors did their best with their roles, but the victim's parents were the best! Bai Jing Ting and Zhao Jinmai killed in this roles! Definitely an underrated gem and worth to watch!Was this review helpful to you?
This Drama Deserves an Oscar
Starting from the storyline, the actors' acting, post-production, I will give everything a perfect score.'Reset' is a science fiction drama that is not boring even though it has the theme of 'time loops', which means the actors always repeat the SAME scene. Repeating the same scene is not easy because there are many details that cannot be changed, because if a detail is forgotten then the audience will find flaws, but the actors and crew managed to do it well in every scene so I was satisfied.
I have a lot of respect for the writer who created 'Reset', I think it's genius. How can she/he make a story about 'time loops' but not be boring at all? I was surprised because the climax of the conflict was completely unpredictable!
Lastly, I'd also like to appreciate Bai Jingting (he's an amazing actor) and Zhao Jinmai (a very promising young actress) for successfully impressing me with their acting, starting from facial expressions, speaking intonation, and other small details. Even though Bai Jingting and Zhao Jinmai are 9 years apart in age (Bai Jingting is much older) their chemistry is superb! The two of them work well together! and kudos to all the crew!
