If you like Dashing Youth, you might like Shui Long Yin.

Both are wuxia (martial arts) dramas that were directed by the same director, Chen Zhou Fei.

Both feature strong leads with martial arts prowess and brash temperament.

Both have multiple emotion lines between multiple characters.

Dashing Youth has similar antic as I am Nobody, with the characters and direction of the drama. It is like I am Nobody is the modern version of Dashing Youth and Dashing Youth is the historical version of I am Nobody.

"Dashing Youth" and "Tiger and Crane" both blend historical fantasy with youthful heroism and intricate plots. They feature strong bonds of friendship, impressive martial arts, and high production values, immersing viewers in captivating, richly detailed worlds.

Neo Hou shines in Back from the Brink and has more chemistry with FL in this fantasy drama while it was not 'wuxia' compared to Dashing Youth---one could argue that DY was more fantasy as well since so much of the "fighting" was just using "techniques" that had everything to do with CGI than actual cheorographed fighting/sword play.
So I recommend BttB as a far more compelling story where the lead (this time the Female) becomes"evil" but goodness prevails.

The main show this spin off comes from. It's great to see the actual actors interacting after a year apart.
