Hye Sung Becomes a Witness for a Murder
Having the power to read minds, Park Soo Ha reads the minds of his classmates who are about to bully another female classmate, and he stands up for her. He thinks back to the memory of his father being beaten to death after a car accident when he was little. Since then, he gained the power to read minds by looking into people's eyes. During an interview for a public defender position, Jang Hye Sung tells the judge that when she was arguing with Seo Do Yeon, they witnessed the tragedy of Soo Ha's father. She admits that she still regrets testifying on that day. Soo Ha promised to protect Hye Sung and has been searching for her ever since. (Source: Viu)

It establishes both Soo Ha and Hye Sung well. While I am nervous about the age difference meaning that Soo Ha is still in Highschool, I in general love romances with a age gap. It's even sweeter that Soo Ha has been looking for Hey Sung since she testified and he's going to keep is vow of protecting her. Though his on foot search seems stupid as she gave her full name at the hearing and then is apparently still keeping it. Oh, well. On foot searches for ones true love is sweet.
What I like more is that the third will of the romance isn't simply thrust upon viewers and there's a brief glimpse of him. Though I KNOW which team I'm on at this point.
The music, writing, characters, and visuals of this story are great. Hye Sung doesn't seem to take her job seriously, but everything is there for her character growth. As someone wronged by "guilty until proven innocent" and the terror of telling the truth to help someone there's plenty of room here. She's well developed and I like her!
Bravo!

In a drama, the first episode is where normally all the characters are built up and/or the plot is laid and let's be honest, it's not always exciting just listening about the past of the characters, unless there's a mystery involved. THIS episode however, despite just being a plot build up and a character build up, kept me with it till the end. Mainly because of the acting. The young Hye Sung was, captivating, truly. She was the highlight of the episode.
The concept seems fresh for a series, there's going to be courtroom drama, love triangles, Lee Jong Suk - all the ingredients to keep me happy. Very happy :P

The only thing that really cracked me up was at the end when the guy is looking for the girl, and keeps on grabbing random girls hands and puling them around. You'd think that he'd learn from his mistake, and run in FRONT of the girl and then turn around and look at her.

Kim So Hyun's a natural--I love her now. :) The plot device is already introduced and I hope this will be a series of solved cases.

I'm starting to think that even though Lee Jong Suk is the 1st male lead but he's not gonna get the girl ^.^ The child actress (god I LoOove her!) played the role brilliantly...I think I've found my drama to this summer (can't believe I didn't have high expectation for this one)...So Yahooooo! can't wait for next ep :)

(Lee Jong Suk portrayed Oska's gay lover in SG...gah! If seeing that chemistry again is possible...come to mama!)
Of course that's coming up in the next few episodes, but this episode was totally scream-worthy itself...it had a fabulous plot...past and present linked in well...Kim So Hyun, the most booked kid actress making her stamp as usual (I'm very excited about her future)....SUPER-POWERS! Seriously. Telepathy. And a noona/dongsaeng love (don't know if girls call guys younger than them dongsaeng...maybe it's just the guys?!)
Good luck reading this incoherent mess, I'm off to eat a tub of ice-scream :)
(Lol...ice-cream surely...sigh)

The plot is centered around lawyers which is quite interesting. Most of the scenes will be in court room now, i guess.
Looking forward to the next ep.. :)
