Day of Becoming You

drama notes: The Day of Becoming You is an intriguing and comedic story that I am thankful I was recommended. This is my first from Zhang Xin Cheng and my second from Liang Jie and I was impressed by their portrayals of body switching. I was touched by the romance, enamored by the comedy & stuck with this drama for the plot development. In the beginning, I wondered how the lead characters would start their romantic journey and my curiosity grew by the episode. The body switching was an interesting touch to an already sweet love story. While I experienced some positive moments during my watch, I think TDOBY missed a step on the wardrobe, sound effects, music and secondary character development. Despite these qualms, I enjoyed the drama overall and I think it’s one that I’ll deeply remember for the romance.
