Overall a very nice series.

Without adding too many spoilers, the series, overall, is well written and the actors are believable. Although many series created in South Korea might be a bit long, their new approaches to themes is really refreshing. So, I really enjoyed the series, One point leads to a reduced vote: some of the cases in the plot seem to be a bit unrealistic. Unless the laws in South Korea are really different from the law standards in western democracies, they would be not reaching court level. But this is not the problem of the series but the authors choice. And from other series written by him (like e.g. Pinocchio) he writes really good plots.
So, overall the series is really watchable.

Entertaining show. Not perfectly written but it's beautifully executed

Entertaining show.. Took us with their journey. From a shared traumatic experience to some kind of unrequited love. From hero worship to reality. Then came acceptance followed by unconditional love.

The formula of the show was really nothing new but it works well. It has fair amount of intrigue, mystery, crime, paranormal, comedy and of course, romance.

The cast did good and gave their characters justice. Every single time that the ML shed tears, it really tugs at my heart strings. .OST is ok too..

My Ipdeok Drama

This my first korean drama which i can finished and also introduce me to Lee Jongsuk. I like everything, like literally everything from the story itself that's quite unique, the plot that never feels boring at all, the acting and casts was *chef's kiss* a solid 10. The story really flows so well to the point i can't help but binge watched it.

Age gap between the mains didn't bother me at all as long as they create lawfully good chemistry. Which they did!

For the music, i don't remember the music it used so i guess it wasn't memorable or even worth downloading over.

A decent drama with nice plot

This is my first ever drama with Bo Young and Jong Suk. I enjoyed watchin this.

The story developes at a good pace.
Never thought that the director would show all the background connection vetween the characters. But the episodes can be a little shorter, doesn't felt that 18 episodes were needed for this.
Jung Woong-in also played his part quite well.

The romance between the leads developes gradually but as K Drama cliché female lead tries to push away male lead but yeah in the end they all get together.

If you like the leads chemistry then you can watch:-
- W
- Pinnochio

Rewatch value - NOPE.

I hear your Voice

The rate is 9.5, but since I was gonna remove a star for lack of chemistry, I don't think it matters. Actual chemistry is not something I expect much from KD anymore.

The cases were really interesting. Of all the characters, my favorite was Mr Cha. He was deep and human in every possible way. I admired him, and felt for him and even found myself rooting (a bit) for his love. I can never forget him. It didn't bother me to see how miss Jang just didn't care about her clients. I know for a fact that a lot of lawyers are like that. That could be why Mr Cha seemed to be a knight in shining armour.

In fact, I liked all the characters. The friendship between the lawyer and the client he failed to help was really moving.

Of course, the plot was nothing that could happen in real life. So what? This is KD land! They still managed to turn the villain into a victim, isn't that trendy?

Lee Jong Suk was handsome as ever, but what I noticed was his great acting, especially when he grew desperate and mad. The scene with the pay phone is worth seeing.

This show is definitely one of my favorites. Tchuka!

From now on, I will write review from my own ratings. I set the overall ratings to 8.5, here the details:
I like the story: +3 (it's perfect score; 1 means I hate it, 2 means neither I like it, 3 I love it)
The fact that this drama will reveal its antagonist in the 1st episode did surprise me a lot. I think it's the only drama did like that. I thought the drama will be boring, since the antagonist have been revealed so early. But, the drama did well. It makes me curious about how the protagonist survive from antagonist's curse since polices and law could not catch him and his evil plan about doing revenge.
I like the cast: +1 +1 (every protagonist has max score: 2)
That "one" is for Kim So Hyun because she is my only favorite korean actress and I can only give "one" from two because she was not the main role. And "one" for Jongsuk. I don't really like him, but since I have watched so many Jongsuk drama, I did not feel strange when I watched the protagonist as the main role. So, I could enjoy the drama.
The drama has humor: +1
I laughed a lot. I love it.
The drama was touching: +1
If I were a girl, I would have cried when Do Yeon found her father was a no-guilty prisoner.
Moral/education value: +1 (If the drama did not have it, I would not give value)
This drama taught me (makes me realize) that humans always hide their lies to keep their relationship with family and friends connected. I learned something called "Law" a lot.
Plot Twist: +0.5
I thought polices would not come to save Jongsuk. But, the sniper team did well to stop the antagonist's (Min Joon Kook) evil act.
.
Total:
3+1+1+1+1+1+0.5
= 8.5
P.s. Sorry, you read my bad English.

Honestly, I only watched this drama bc of Lee Jong Suk and he did not disappoint (well, maybe a little on episode 17). But overall he did a great job, as usual. I did not, however, feel the romantic chemistry between him and Lee Bo Young at all. It wasn’t because of the big age difference but because of the fact that she was just so absolutely immature and obnoxious that many times it was utter torture watching her scenes while trying not to scream in frustration. She is 7 years older than him and a grown ass adult working as a public defender yet behaves like a total petulant, bratty, disrespectful child 99% of the time?!? Sorry, no, urghhh…..just, bye. I did nonetheless really enjoy seeing the supporting characters develop over the course of the entire drama, which was a very satisfying complement to the story.

This was addictively entertaining, but I was groaning at the plot, especially during the last couple of episodes.

Even though the Min Jun Gook storyline is central to the whole show and ties the main characters together, this plot was so ridiculous that I wish it could be somehow removed. His motivations and actions, as well as the way the other characters react to him, are so hard to believe that it drags down the whole show.

Lee Bo Young was so charming and fun to watch, that she made up for all the flaws. I would be happy to have a nuna like her. Also, Lee Jong Suk's acting was much better than usual for these typical skinny K-pop pretty boy type roles. He showed a lot of range and sensitivity.

But beyond the deeply flawed Min Jun Gook plot, I wish they had taken more care to portray the workings of the law a little more realistically. So I guess in Korea they don't recuse prosecutors, attorneys, and judges from cases even though they're closely related to the accused or the victims?

Also, I kind of feel sorry for Do Yeon’s birth mom, since she was basically just thrown away like a piece of garbage by the show. Sure, what she did to her husband was terrible, but she did it to give her daughter a better life. It seems like Do Yeon has no interest in her whatsoever even though she’s her real mom. Oh well, maybe she’ll end up hooking up with Do Yeon’s dad, who was also treated poorly by the show at the end, since his marriage seems to be over. Admittedly, both these characters were bad people, but a psycho murderer like Min is treated more sympathetically at the end than these side characters.

Cha Kwan Hoo is a good guy, so hopefully he ends up with Seo Do Yeon or that happy assistant guy in the public defender's office if he decides to swing that way.

If a career in law enforcement doesn’t work out for Soo Ha, he can always become a professional poker player and make billions of won.

Totally overrated!!!! The only thing that really l liked in this was the "ability to hear other people thoughts" and the plot of the story, but what killed it for me was acting and character matching. Watching this drama was just ok for me. By episode 4 i did not know if I should continue, but I hate to drop out from any thing to watch so before I ended this torture I decided to continue. It was ok, but this drama did not move me as other dramas such as YOU WHO CAME FROM THE STARS or SECRET GARDEN did ... not even close, and rating here was much higher - how can this be is my only question here...

I watched this drama due to the popularity of this drama in search engine. Early episodes were quite OK, but as soon as it got into the mid of the journey, it got really boring that I had to force myself to see the end. There were just way too many flashback scenes, that if those were omitted, maybe the show as half shorter and maybe better.

I think the popularity is mainly due to the cute male lead who I truly agree was a candy eye to female audiences. The supposed to be funny scenes were not laughter inviting and the romantic scenes were not romantic enough. Somehow I think the main casts were better as sister and brother. They even looked a bit alike.

Anyway, if you are into cute flower boy and noona love type scenes without real plot, this is your movie. But, unfortunately, not mine.
