Quite entertaining even if there isn't much new about it

What a surprise. After reading comments I had my hopes somewhat crushed but I decided to watch this short show anyway because I like the ML. The storyline isn’t new and nothing out of the ordinary happens yet somehow I was quite entertained.
Character wise there is this clever ML who is a CEO of a big construction company. There is also a FL that is the daughter of a deceased owner of another construction company. Although she is a capable professional she is also affected by her fathers death and the following repercussions.
The two main leads grew up in a non-biological brother/sister relation (family ties) but both of them fell in love with each other at a young age. The death of FLs daughter and misunderstandings at that time causes the two to separate for 3 years. The story begins when FL returns to the country wanting to investigate what happened 3 years earlier.
One of my favorite supporting characters was ML’s assistant and former schoolmate Li Yao. He is a good friend with lots of sensible and constructive advice - and a few more physical interventions, LOL. Who wouldn’t love to have someone like that on your side?
Acting wise this is rather good. There is no cringe acting and everyone does a good job with their character.
So, if you love a romantic drama that is mostly lighthearted, this is well worth watching.
