The rapid escalation of a mastershit
This is one of those dramas I hate with passion while watching it. Idk who is worse than the other, the writer or the actors??The beginning was not the best but bearable with enough space for improvement but it chose to just roll in the mud and created the most ridiculously possible string of events that made me question why I am watching this drama. I am so sorry to say this about a drama but I really wanted to throw up.
I initially wanted to drop it, but when I realized this was the first drama of Kim Jae Joong after his long hiatus I wanted to give it a try. Also, it explains his very old school kdrama vibes from his acting. His acting was cliche and sometimes cringy but you can see an effort. Lee Jong Won, was doing a great job too. But I can't say the same thing forJin Se Yeon...
The characters in this drama were the worst. The lack of understanding between each other, the never-ending misunderstandings, the naive characters, the female lead who causes more destruction than construction..the list goes on...was just exhausting me to no end.
The story line.....was just beyond ridiculous. It's leaning more towards the kdrama in the 2000 era, with the cliche cringy lines, the mismatch events...[shaking my head]. a female lead with a halo who has the "I'm an angel" complex.....
This drama successfully managed to end up in my least fav rated drama of 2024.

Erase it all
The series opened with such meaty angst with Lee Gun driven to deep mental unwellness by his family treating him as a second class citizen after his tragic tennis accident from when he was just a kid. His pain when he finally snapped and let his family have a piece of his mind was so palpable. It all goes down hill after the extremely ethically questionable procedure done to his brain to take away the bad memories and his personality turns into an annoying, obnoxious cartoon character. The actor can't bring any grounded nuance to balance Lee Gun out. Ju Yeon also just becomes annoying whenever she's with Lee Gun and gets worse as she falls in love with him. The chemistry for the two main couples are all mismatched. Lee Gun is actually way more interesting with his Sae Yan whose wacky personality actually levels out his cartoonish over the top behavior to something bearable. Lee Shin and Ju Yeon are also more interesting together with him having his own mental health issues that are more on the level that Ju Yeon can help with without lies and they can relate to each other better. 16 episode is way too long for this show as well, it might have been slightly more tolerable if it was maybe 10. The twist that Ju Yeon was the actual first love all along is extremely uninspired. Was this review helpful to you?

Story stole the show
Lee Goon's sleepless night gets changed as Se Yeon tries her bad memory-erasing technique on him. But will the effect remain forever? The love story themed over brother love triangle wins it all. The fresh concept, the strong narrative, and the quick and gripping twists make it nice and fantastic.

"Disappointing Drama with a Rushed Ending and Miscast Main Lead"
The drama starts off strong but goes downhill after the first few episodes. The ending feels rushed, especially from episode 14 onwards. The actress playing Kyung Ju Yeon struggled with this particular role—her performance didn’t match the tone of most scenes, though she was decent in the angry moments. Unfortunately, she didn’t do justice to the character, unlike the other actors who delivered solid performances.
I continued watching till end because I liked the main actor's character, but overall, it was a bit disappointing.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to watch this series.

Terrible!!!
I had a terrible experience with this drama. At first, it seemed good and enjoyable, but then it got worse and worse. The plot was a mess, and the characters were terrible. The ending was trash. Whoever the writer is, they shouldn't get another drama. The plot was messed up from the very beginning. The acting from the male lead was horrendous at times, bordering on amateurish. The second male lead is a weird character. He loves his brother to death, wants his brother dead, loves the female lead, lies and betrays the female lead, and then acts like nothing happened the next day. Lastly, by the end, I didn't care who ended up with whom. I was just happy it was finally over. This was a mess. Watch at your own peril. Was this review helpful to you?
Started off fine but too many issues
I genuinely enjoyed the first few episodes of the drama but it really went downhill about halfway through. There's so many things to dislike, I don't know what to say. I only continued watching because JaeJoong is charming but most of the characters are annoying. Absolutely hated that they made his younger brother also in love with the fl. They did Sae Yan so wrong. So much miscommunication. And as they do in a typical romcom, all the problems are solved and shady characters are forgiven by the end.Was this review helpful to you?

Love this Kdrama, worth watching! giving old kdrama (DOTS, WWWSK, TLBS) vibe
I really love this kdrama since the 1st episode. This is a whole-heart comedy, I love the main lead and 2nd male lead, I like both. the relationship between both brothers is amazing, the love square and silly female lead. first, I was skeptical about the brain surgery part cuz tbh it's unethical and should not be allowed in real life but then who does the medical since will improve, if you keep the logical part aside this is beautiful Krama, I love this.ppl are saying how could 2nd ML kiss the Main FL? but if you look closely it is the first time for him also has feelings for someone, he knew FL liked his brother he still goes for it, and things are getting more interesting.

Boring and typical. I watched it so Don't watch it
I had high expectations since it was jj's drama, but sadly the writer had other plans. The first 4 eps were good, they touched pretty hard topics but after 3rd ep the story was going to become one of the cringest drama. And I don't mean sweet cringey, I meant Actual cringe that will make you flip your laptop. The ESTUPID 2 brothers in love with 1 girl BULLSHIT PLOT. And towards the end the story became a bigger mess with no ends. Tsktsk. The actors acted well but story was Crap. Was this review helpful to you?
Flowers that have overcome heavy rain and wind bloom more profusely.
Thanks to such gems, interest in dramas does not fade away! Interesting, exciting and unpredictable with three-dimensional characters to whom nothing human is alien, and in everyone there are angels and demons fighting! The chemistry is fantastic. This is exactly the case when you like all the main characters and it’s difficult to pick a favorite, each is beautiful in their own way.I would especially like to note the camera work. The series is very watercolor with stunningly beautiful filming and a screensaver. And the last frame is simply cosmic.
The story itself has a very correct message. Sometimes the things that happen to you and seem negative to you are based on love for you, you just look at the world through the prism of your ideas about happiness and they do not coincide with you.
The drama is deep! Many people write that I don’t understand, just as in life, understanding does not always come in real time, often late, and sometimes too late. This is why the drama is valuable, because it clearly showed the imperfections of life and yet, no matter how much you suffer, there is always the opportunity to recover. And the color of life depends on through what prism you look at it.
Sometimes you need to sacrifice something and in stressful situations the decisions made may not be popular, but they can save the family from collapse. But when trying to make others happy, you shouldn’t do it by pushing them into your model of happiness... and of course, children have a wonderful urge to realize, but you should do this focusing on their personal aspirations.
I liked the acting. It would be foolish for the brothers' parents to reflect and play out drama after a long and difficult path, albeit in the wrong direction, although it was the path to understanding. I'm looking forward to the last episode and I'm sad that the series is ending.
