This drama special is produced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of CBC/Shochiku Co., Ltd. Matsubara Tappei is a winemaker from Nagano prefecture. He has raised his only daughter by himself since he lost his wife 20 years ago. When the daughter got married and went to New Zealand, Matsubara couldn't come to terms with his loneliness. Meanwhile, Matsubara's friend from college and the author Shigemune Shukichi invites him to Kyoto for a class reunion. During the reunion, one of the old friends, Yamabe Kyosuke confesses Matsubara that his daughter Reiko seems to be attending a dubious party every night at a high-class membership club.
