Takeshi runs a popular Italian restaurant in a port town. His ex-lover Kazuyoshi went to Italy to train as a chef seven years ago so he is single. His sister is pregnant with the baby of Kazuyoshi’s younger brother and a wedding between the pair will happen before the birth. What I Liked
- the Italian music
- that really muscular guy was so sweet (and he made me laugh a few times)
- showing the stress of caring for an aging/ill parent
Room For Improvement
- we needed more explanation, why did he go away for 7 years? I wasn't even sure why he returned/his relationship to the couple until I read the summary. I'm all for NSFW scenes, but they could have removed a couple and built the plot more.

Refreshingly Different and Adult
This is an adult story not necessarily based on romantic notions. It is not ashamed of what it is. It is a love story that is sad yet hopeful at the end. This is a profoundly moving story shown through lustful eyes but with a realism that is so pensive. There are some profound enigmas in this story that leaves you with a sense of wonderment as to the depth of love one can have for another. There is such a wonderful blend of Italian food and music into this Japanese movie that is breathtakingly moving. But please be aware, it is not hide its sexuality.Was this review helpful to you?
