The Dajia Matsu pilgrimage activity is one of Taiwan's biggest religious events, people carry flags symbolizing the sons and daughters of the goddess, following her on the journey for over 300 kilometers. Hua Paung is a gay male, also a carrier of the HIV, aiming to eliminate discrimination with "HIV+ hugs". Hua Paung also happens to be a follower of Matsu.hoping that one day, he could gather the LGBTQ community of Taiwan to walk the pilgrimage event of Matzu.
