An Unexpected Surprise
If you ever told me that one of the most emotional, soulful, subversive, epic and powerful blockbusters ever would be a modern Chinese genre/blockbuster type movie, I would have never believe you and yet here it is. It's basically the movie that Happening wishes it was. Hopeful, heartfelt, and fun rather than corny, pretentious, and annoying.I wish more people would see this one because man it is great and to be honest I am pretty speechless. I wouldn't say it tops Godzilla vs Kong as the best movie of 2021, but it is a close second.

Just kill the nature on your planet and if it rebels, just kill it HARDER! Technology is power!
The message was supposed to be something like "If we keep on destroying the planet, it will try to get reed of us, so let's change our ways.". But because of the plot it resulted in something more like "The human power to conquer the nature trough technology and our intelligence is unlimited". which is pretty much the opposite.Real tags should be: Yuan Yuan is annoying, evolution can take just few seconds apparently, exposition, "Chinese people and their army are magnific, amazing OMG the best", "fat people always eat, walk slow , are clumsy ect" cliché.

une catastrophe
Autant ils ont de bonnes idées dans le cinéma chinois mais pour que se soit une réussite il faut y mettre les moyens. Ici on sent le budget limité, très limité... les effets spéciaux sont minables, le scénario est bancale , y a pas grand chose qui va dans cette histoire. Que dire aussi des scènes ridicules , ça fait presque mal au cœur de voir les efforts fait par les acteurs pour un tel rendu.Je ne sais pas si c'est les dialogues chinois qui ne sont pas à la hauteur mais la VF franchement est horrible. Ce n'est pas travaillé, des échanges de maternelles et encore.
