This is another series in which an practically invisible boy with no self confidence falls in love with a beautiful classmate. He is obsessively attracted to the beautiful boy and worships him from afar not daring to hope for more. Another toxic relationship between two damaged people.

While quite different story and vibe wise, episode 4 of One Night Morning tackles a relationship with a FL with a stutter and the perceived lack of control and misunderstandings that the stutter and social fear may have inspired with the ML (who tends to give off a very intimidating/cold delinquent-like vibe to others). These elements remind of the two male leads in My Beautiful Man.

Aoki has a crush on Hashimoto, the girl in the seat next to him in class. But he despairs when he borrows her eraser and sees she's written the name of another boy—Ida—on it. To make matters more confusing, Ida sees Aoki holding that very eraser and thinks Aoki has a crush on him!

Japanese bl drama which has also a psychological tag. Similar length in number of episodes and duration in general.
- they both concentrate on the crush that one ml has for the other and the feelings that grow and change from there
- My Beautiful Man focuses more on an obsession and admiration kind of aspect
- In My Beautiful Man the love interest acts mean for a longer period of time before realizing his feelings (similar to A Shoulder to Cry On)
- The overall themes and way of progression of the story are fairly similar between the two

Both are BL Japanese dramas with a similar vibe in the relationship between the MLs.

Both are MBS TV series and as manga reader I find Kaneda and Hira being similar in a way lol but the vibe is very different with Sepakoi being pure romcom while utsukare is more of bittersweet coming of age.

Both dramas portray the Tsundere vibe, stand offish but also shows affection to their lover. They also both have aspects of school and work.

Seventeen-year-old Hira, who is at the bottom of the class, tries to remain invisible at school, never wanting to open his mouth and expose his stuttering speech to his classmates. He views the world through his camera lens, detached until one day, Kiyoi Sou walks through the classroom door. The impact is instantaneous.

Hira finds himself pulled into Kiyoi's gravity, following him everywhere and attending to his every need. Popularity comes easily to beautiful Kiyoi, who is always surrounded by his classmates. He uses his status to get what he wants, ordering around the boy who stares at him with his big eyes and seems to worship him like a god.

Hira contents himself to merely exist within Kiyoi's orbit, asking for nothing in return…

Both are short japanese dramas about a romance between two boys. The story starts when the characters are 17 and then later continues when theyre adults meeting again (his movie). Theres a sequel movie for both and funny enough the actors have similar haistyles.
