Stylish, short, okay.
“Bite Sisters” is about three hot vampire ladies who are not sisters. Two of them run an expensive designer fashion boutique and the third is a workaholic who works at a design/art company.❝At some moment, when even the unique temperament that flows deeply inside comes out, it eventually makes them have no choice but to bite.❞
In terms of story, Bite Sisters was boring and predictable but mostly just boring. It starts out with the fabulous vampires in 1921 Korea and transitions smoothly into present day Seoul. While there are three of them, the episodes concentrate on Han Yi Na played by Kang Han Na. The other two sisters feature in all episodes but are side characters for the most of it.
Han Yi Na is shown to be a person who cannot stand injustice as shown in the opening. The latter half of the show concentrates on how she steps in to protect a child and her mother from an abusive father. Don’t expect too much depth from this part of the story though cause you won't find it. To be honest I probably wouldn't even have noticed that Han Yi Na is a champion of justice unless it was mentioned in the synopsis itself. The story was all over the place and while grappling with the romance plot, Han Yi Na’s character arc didn’t get much focus.
❝I don’t want to put you through my death.❞
Now, the romance. It was sweet and sad. The main lead is as dumb as Bella Swan in Twilight but the romance was better here (obviously). It didn't get much time to develop but as viewers, we get all the essentials of it. How Sungmin was struck by Han Yi Na’s beauty when he first saw her 100 years ago and how he is drawn to her again in his second life. A really well done take on the romance between a mortal and an immortal.
The best part about this show were the production values. Since MDL doesn't have that parameter, I'd like to establish that this show deserves a 8.5/10 in terms of production values. The red aesthetic was super pretty. The scenes from 1921 melded with how Han Hi Na’s first romance ended. Overall Bite Sisters was gorgeous with really high visual quality.
Even the acting was great. Kang Han Na is like super gorgeous. The only thing dragging this show for me was the storyline.
Overall a 7/10. The episodes are all completely up on YouTube and it's good as a short vampire fantasy drama.

Strong cast stuck with scattershot storytelling
Need an actor to silently glare sideways at the camera and incinerate everything in sight? Kang Han Na should be the first choice. Maybe the second and third and even the fourth too. She’s a talent as an actor in general, but at this specific thing, she’s unrivaled. That “Bite Sisters” asks her to do this on a frequent basis shows a keen sense of self-awareness, to both good and bad purposes. The cast is a legion of stardom for a web drama. Credits of the top four billed actors include a string of recent hit shows like “Crash Landing on You”, “Start-Up”, “My Roommate is a Gumiho”, “River Where the Moon Rises”, “Be Melodramatic” and “Mystic Pop-Up Bar”. The production most takes place them in a fashion boutique giving the wardrobe crew license to deck the cast in some of the most fashionable threads the screen (web or otherwise) has seen this year. Now make the three female actors vampires to add a little supernatural twist and this well-known cast that looks amazing should be a slam dunk.
A full length drama with sixteen hour long episodes can struggle weaving more than a single storyline and their supporting characters together coherently. In a web drama with only ten episodes averaging around ten minutes, it’s madness. “Bite Sisters” has a backstory, an arc where Yi Na (the main character played by Kang Han Na) blows up as an influencer on social media, there’s the youngest of the three vampires Ji Yeon who has multiple issues at her job outside the boutique, Yi Na’s old flame has been reincarnated, a cheating boyfriend of a customer, a young girl with a terrible father and even a neighbor lady that’s trying to feed a street cat. It’s a stew of undercooked, overused themes that don’t really get any fresh treatment. Instead of a show about all of these things, it’s much closer to a show about nothing because none of the narratives end up with a fraction of the depth necessary to engage a viewer.
Give it a good silent sideways glare because “Bite Sisters” is terrific eye candy. But it’s just a shiny veneer without any substance beneath the surface.

This is a great series to watch
This series is amazing. The cast, the storyline everything is outstanding. Hope this series get the attention it deserves. The story is different from American shows story. The point is clear and the acting makes everything clear. This drama is amaizing and worth to watch. Going to recommend this series to my friends. This is going to be in my favourite drama list. As only few episodes have been released but the hype is worth it. There should be more dramas like this in future. The genre is also mindblowingWas this review helpful to you?
Need a bigger bite of this!
I really liked the concept of this drama which is about three vampire sisters adapting to current times. FL is bored so she creates sns profile and becomes viral. From then on her life changed, and, the social commentary about social media was interesting. FL doesn't want to make her lover a vampire which was an interesting take from conventions *wink*. Also, it was obvious to understand why ML left her in past. But I really loved the way their relationship turns out for the present times. About the older sister, I wanted to know more about her story of why she is isolated and cold. The other sister story was also nice, she was an interesting character. But I think 10 episodes are too short to tell their story. I wish this was a full fledged show. Was this review helpful to you?
Another Miniseries leaving me wanting more
I really should not watch anymore of these short miniseries/adverts. I always want something more. I really wanted the backstory of each of the 3 main FL. We get a little glimpse of it but would have been good to have an episode dedicated to each sister and possibly show how they became vampires and then ultimately sisters. That being said, someone mentioned this was an advert for the clothes in the series, so it was never going to deep dive like that. I only wish now someone would create a full-on series out of it and give me the back story that I want and need!!
The positives though are that the cast is great. I mean everyone. I don't know any of the actors, but they all played their parts very well. The clothes were great as well. And they should be since this was essentially and advert for the clothes.

Compact Brilliance - Untapped Potential
I don't quite comprehend the disappointment surrounding the series. After all, each episode barely exceeds 10 minutes, sometimes even less. The entire series spans a mere 1.5 hours. Within this compact timeframe, I must admit that the storyline, direction, and acting were rather commendable. Crafting a cohesive narrative within such constraints is undoubtedly challenging.Instead of nitpicking and overanalyzing, perhaps we should simply appreciate the effort put into the visuals and plotline. The creators managed to deliver a compelling story despite the brevity of each episode. Why should we demand more when no one is obligating us to do so?
The only acceptable disappointment here lies in the show's shortened length; it possessed great potential had it been given a normal timeframe.
Let's embrace the series for what it is: a concise yet impactful work of art. Rather than dwelling on perceived shortcomings, let's celebrate its strengths and move beyond the tendency to overly criticize.

A Fancy and Well-conveyed Web Drama
/ Liked it for its simplicity and bite-sized antics./ Could pass with a potential of being a full-blown 16 episode if they wanted to since it doesn't feel rushed or lacking of plot content.
/ Han In-a's actress deserves to have a Main Lead Role soon.
/ Glad you can watch it on YouTube for its accessibility.

There isn't much about the story.
I think the whole drama was 2hrs and a few minutes. But there isnt anything to watch for 2hrs. It was like watching some meaningless video. I didnt like this drama at all. If you guys have time or you are bored you can watch this otherwise i wont ever recommend this drama for anyone.I saw many people commenting that it was worth watching and its their favourite drama ever and giving 10 rating i cant understand this. I wasn't going to write anything for the review but after seeing these reviews i thought i should post my opinion about this drama. Was this review helpful to you?

A great show with a great story and video quality
I just started watching this show today, and for now it has been really interesting. The first episode is an introduction to the characters, how they were before and how they are now. The story develops around 3 main characters, 3 "so called sisters", who all are vampires and try to adapt to the modern life.Han Yi Na, the middle sister, owns a clothing shop, she then decides to open a SNS account (Instagram I think) and gains 1 million followers a day. There are articles all over the Internet about her gaining that many followers in such a short time notice.
The episode ends here.
On a production note, the sound is so good? It sounds really cripsy and you can really hear all the details going on (walking on concrete, heels...). The video quality is really nice. The production budget seems really high for a drama that you can watch on Youtube!
I will write another review when more episodes are released :)
